Minnesota Vikings add a Fitzgerald to the roster

This is a nothing Fitzgerald - naturally this team would never add the real one.

Whatever IAVikeFan, this is awesome! As you Vikings fans should know, the Fitzgerald family has hellsa roots in Minnesota. Larry was a ball boy with the Vikings back in the Moss days. Hopefully someday we will have both brothers in on the roster, and hopefully it will be shortly after we get a new stadium. I was very pleased to read this article, especially the quote from Marcus. My sentiments exactly.

I have a gut feeling that Childress has some things brewing for us all to be happy about. it is fun to be a loyal fan. Good job Brad.

I hear they are also close to signing rookie free agents Billy Brady and Marty Moss. Should be good pickups.

Yeah, and thats why THIS Fitzgerald made huge waves in college and was a first round draft pick like his brother Larry, right? Think about more than just name recognition... Is Tim Hasselbeck as good as Matt Hasselbeck? Other than the Mannings and Barbers, How many brothers of talented players are tearing up the NFL? Last time the Vikings had Ismail, maybe?

Face it- you are expecting the next Larry Fitzgerald, and it's not going to happen.

A little over half the size, but he is only 5'10".
I don't know what happened with him, but he went from 41 receptions for 448 yards, 2 TD's in his soph year to a combined 17 catches for 231 yards, 1 TD in his junior & senior years.

I'd be shocked if he ends up on the team... even the practice squad.

as a viking fan of 40 years plus there is no way i ever want tosee favre or any other packer in a viking uniform. childress needs to be fired and get some one who understands we cant win with jackson or a career backup from texas.
