The Bears are not only not in a win-now mode, they seem to be in a win-never mode.

Then go root for a different team and shut it.

Kyle Orton is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!! Probably the best player in the whole League!

@Yop - thanks for the advice but I started doing exactly what you suggest last year. The Bears are not worth loyalty from any fan, well I guess that is not true because stupid fans give it to the Bears all the time.
I am not stupid so I say.. lets go Packers! Lets go Lions!.. and lets go Vikings!!! Heck I am even to the point that I wish the Bears would leave Chicago. |

Why does anyone even care about this ex-pro football team?

Haugh,..... You're now sounding like many of the posts on the Bears' Forum.......... Did it take you THIS long to figure it out ?? . |

The Bears are a joke. They seem, correction, they have no plan this offseason unless you consider letting the team get worse over the offseason a plan. There plan is to coach up Frank O. just like they coached up Metcalfe and Beekman. There plan is to coach up Bullocks, just like they coached up Manning who still hasn't found a position in three years and Vasher who has fallen off dramatically. I hope they don't draft a WR because there coaches are not that good. They were unable to do anything with Bradley or Bennett so why would this draft pick be any different. Our only hope is that they wake up and sign someone who is already proven and knows how to play the position, like a Holt when he gets released. Wake up Bear Organization and improve the team.

wow....that video makes it look like he was solely responsible for the 2006 bears beating the saints.
high five! |

Why don't they convert him to wide receiver? That way they can coach him up with devin to play offense.

---------- If you do not care about the BEARS; why are you posting on this blog then? You must either be bored or two faced? Which is it? You were bold enough to make your statement, be bold enough to answer! Leave the profanity and ignorance in your bathroom, where it belongs. |

Dave,
All fine and dandy but the bears don't think that way. Are you lining up yourself for a Bears GM position? One will be available this Christmas. |

Barney of Sandy Utah...
You said.. "Heck I am even to the point that I wish the Bears would leave Chicago. " Well, that isn't going to happen but I see you have. Tell you what...why don't you become a fan of your team in Utah? What? No NFL team? Well...you can always cheer on the local peewee team. Or...who's the closest team around...oh yeah...Seattle. Or...maybe...just maybe...you want the Bears to leave town and join you in Utah. Let's see...how does the Utah Bears sound? Ugh ! |
||||
. Wow,..... I'm sure glad to see that ! 'Cause we all know that COACHING is the Bears' strong point...... Especially on D !! . |

Screw the Bears -- how do I get U2 tickets?
|
||||

Who will win less games the Bears or the Lions?
Jerry Angelo is in a race to see who can get the number one pick in next years draft! |

That's a laugh, saying to watch out for Payne to develop into something. Pass the bong, please.
Payne is one of the worst tacklers I have ever seen. Always a step late to the ball, then all he does is run into the receiver without actually tackling him. He looks like a human pinball out there. His horrible tackling technique no doubt contributed to to his shoulder injury. The same coach who should have corrected his obvious fundamental flaws would be the one to "coach up" Bullocks? Yeah, right... |

That's the problem with this coaching staff. They think they can "coach up" most everybody and I have yet to see signs of it. That's how arrogant Smith and Angelo are. Like Lovie said after the SB XLI loss, "Trust me, I know what I'm doing". Well, mush mouth, you better win in 2009 or even the ultra patient Bears will jettison your keyster out of here.

I know it inspires little confidence in the Bears' newly signed safety, Josh Bullocks, when he is the player featured in the YouTube video labeled "How Can a Safety Be This Bad?", a 1-minute-39-second montage of his missed assignments, bad coverage and terrible tackling.
He will fit right in with roasted peanut covering the corner. |

Welcomed 2 LAST place. This team is bad.......and NOT in a good way.
|

Anquan Boldin. Why can't the Bears take a shot here? Arizona wants a 1st, 3rd and 6th rounder...steep price...see if Arizona is dumb enough to take Urlacher and maybe a 2nd round pick this year and next year. Or see if someone is willing to give up a 2nd rounder for Urlacher. There's a lot of decent linebacker prospects in the draft anyways, grab one in the first round and let Briggs help him mature. At least consider bringing in Torry Holt or Lavernaeus Coles. WHY can't this team ever be rumored to any decent players?
