In Tampa Bay we know who we like. We like the team so much that now the St. Pete Times is running pictures of Jim Irsay! So Colts, remember that you are the champions and that Tampa Bay is with you all the way.

These ratings are bogus. Coaching edge even? I don't think so. Basing last years defense against the pass? Wrong again. Special teams even? Again wrong the Pats have a better special teams. Bottom line is the Pats are as good or better in all categories and after it is over I will be curious to see what is said.

The Pats and Colts can be summed up by saying that the fans respect each other ,the players most certainly respect each other, the suits in the front office hate each other.

The deciding factor in this game is turnovers.

Considering that Belichick lost by 4 points, with absolutely NO recievers in your yard last year, you have to be kidding. Look at Parcells, Weis, Crenell and the so-called 'Man-Genius' when they did not have Belichick by their side. Coach Hoody has been a part of FIVE super bowl wins. Nuf ced !

It seems as if the coaches made a bad call on the pass play to Reggie late in the game. With a 3rd and short yardage, Addai could have converted, we would have kept possession and used more clock, and possibly scored. Why the big gamble when we had a lead to protect?

Jags are going to get their asses whopped ...again. Colts will be eager to regain their sharp passing offense and I expect them to go for some big plays. Next few games before playoffs are good opportunity.

"The Jaguars made a mistake in the last meeting when they tried to throw more than pass. It was a classic case of a team overthinking a situation." --- baloney!

Look, with those passed the Jags came out moving the ball. If Garrard doesn't go down, I think the Jags run game gets a lift from those early passes, most of which were completions. It's a 22 man game I know, but Garrard's departure really, really hurt them, and the Colts defense could consentrate on the run; it made the game lopsided.... If the Colts are smart, they come into this game with a little fear. Don't be surprised if the Jags come out throwing again and this time make it count..... The Colts still win but with our hair standing on end.

Wondering who’s carrying the Colts?

Look no further than our No. 1-rated pass defense, as measured by the most important indicators of pass-defense success, Defensive Passer Rating (69.7) and Passing Yards Per Attempt (5.55).

The offense is stumbling and quarterback Peyton Manning is crumbling into an Eli right before our very eyes (one 100-plus passer rating in last six games; a Jeff George-like 19 picks in last 15 game).

But the Indy defense is as stout against the pass as any NFL team seen in recent years. It’s just one more indicator of the remarkable turnaround of the Colts defense that we witnessed in the playoffs last year. The Indy defense in 2006, for example, ranked just No. 15 in Defensive Passer Rating, with a perfectly average 80.4 rating.

Coltsfan,

You should credit the source or provide a link to the source so that it does not appear that you wrote this, which you clearly did not.

You're old enough to know better.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
