more nuggets regarding MV7 According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Vick might not be playing in the NFL again anytime soon. Quoting unnamed sources, Cole reports that commissioner Roger Goodell is leaning toward extending Vick’s suspension through the 2009 season. Sweet, sweet

Sweet, sweet This article also states he is overrated Mike Vicks problems are self imposed. He got off light . You need to do your research on dog fighting. M. Vick crimes are very different from other pro athletes that have gone to trial for off the field indiscretions. Burress shooting himself in a bar, that is just stupidity. O.J. situation was a reaction of passion. Mike Vick situation was a result of years of planned, organized, and deliberate torture, and murder. He spent large amounts of money to enjoy inflicting pain on and death on defenseless animals. This is not hunting, this is premeditated torture. The conditions of such training and treatment is deplorable. People who participate in this type of behavior are usually child and wife abusers as well. Torturing animals is a stepping stone for serial killer to move to humans. As the great Jim Brown said ( if I could paraphrase), Mike Vick problems are far greater than being out of football, he has serious mental issues that need to be treated and no one is looking at these issues. Anyone who thinks Mike Vick is total rehabbed because he spent two years in prison, why don't you let M. Vick baby sit your daughter. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/no-nfl-for-m...

Sweet, sweet wishful thinking at its best but it wont happen. Vick will be on an nfl team in 2009, you can bet on that.

You all forget that ray lewis killed someone and nothing happened to him. I am close to the vick family and what mike did was wrong but football is his life and I think that all you just want to hold him down he has paid for what he did. Part of his salary should go toward humaine societys what ever you guys want just let him play football so he can make money again and help out organizations for dogs or any type of animal

Ask these Vick supporters who think he is rehabilitated if they will invite him to their home and have dinner with their wives and children. I have asked that question in many of my previous posts and HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ONE ANSWER, NOT ONE. So that's the million dollar question because with all their support and idolization of this freak, they would never allow their children or animals to go near this mentally deranged creature although they want us to condone his savage, evil, vile and sadistic acts against innocent and helpless animals.

Did his family know about it? If so, why didn't anyone try to stop him?

I wouldnt have a problem with him coming to my house to have dinner with me and my family if he wanted to. why not? he killed dogs not people. and again I dont like the fact that he killed dogs but I support his right to resume his career. he served his time lost millions and is contributing to the humane society to curb dogfighting. IMO he should get a second chance, and he will.

IMO he should get a second chance, and he will. I wouldn't have a problem with him coming to my house for dinner either. He is younger than my son and I would be giving him the same thing I would give my own son for doing such vile things: "What the hell is wrong with you"? "Are you nuts"? "You need to see a psychiatrist" "I should beat your azz" and so on and so on and so on. He would have to listen to my ranting for hours. Too bad nobody else cared enough about Michael Vick the person to do this to him before he got caught up in all this.
