Penalty that negated Ginn's return for TD was far from decisive

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

How unfair is this Dolphins season? Now they're losing to the unseen. The holding penalty that negated Ted Ginn Jr.'s kickoff return for a touchdown was so far behind the play that the CBS cameras never caught ...

some team can overcome these kind of bad breaks, but this dolphin team isn't one of them.

You're spot on, Ethan. Anything that could've possibly gone wrong this season has, today's loss stung a little more then most because not only was it the Bills but we dominated so much and didn't get anything to show for. Ginn is really starting to get returns, as soon as we get some decent QB play Ginn could really take off; we got a special player in number 19.

Unfair ? The questions and answers should address how this organization continues to allow this product be placed before the people who pay money to watch this debactle.

with fat fraud wayne as the owner the Dolphins may never overcome bad breaks; don't even blame the coaches anymore; they are just the nameless-ones

Officials didn't have a good day. They blew the call on the punt that was ruled a touchback, when it sure appeared to have gone out at the half-yard line. And to call a ticky-tack call to negate a beautiful runback for a TD is sad to see, especially for an unlucky team like the Fins.

I hate it the Dolphins are winless but it was fun watching Brown and I now enjoy watching Chatman. There are some bright spots in our lousy season.

how many returns has Ginn had that has been called back this year? Everytime he breaks one it is a flag.

Ginn has been ROBBED 3 X on a total of 4 holding calls on long runs and 2 TDs.
Not sure what Wayne's clout is these days -- you'd think it be high after giving up a home game. Apparently not. Refs acting we are Seattle in the SB every game. Totally biased and CLEARLY throwing late flags on TDs.
Good news is: GINN is for real. Time to find out if Beck is too.Cleo is a decent back-up but is marginally worse than Fiedler in his 'prime'.

Thank god John Beck did not play in this game. He might have lost his confidence while he watched this team self-destruct again. Beck has a max of 8 years left in his career due to his Mormon travels, when he retires they will film the new Big-love HBO show at his house with him and his 8 wives. President Mitt Romney will make sure all the Mormons are taken care of and Beck will be a huge star in the civilian world much like Brittney Spears is a star in our unfortunate daily world. An unbelievably “Manson” like prophet named “Concerned One” predicted this auto-vehicle apocalypse and now we must all pay for her vision. John Beck will be claimed as a free agent from by the Patriots in 2010 as our new coach Charlie Weis from Notre Dame takes over. Due to the fantastic past vision of CamCam , Charlie Weis will be hired to protect John Beck in an area at the stadium that becomes known as the “CamCam Jewelers Box” as CamCam describes it and Mr. Beck will be totally protected from harm there throughout the football season. Uncle W will say that Weis was the best judge of talent ever at ND and that Wanstache is being rehired as a defensive coordinator. Don’t think it can’t happen suckers! Fire Scam Cam before we never recover bitches! Wanstache for President! Can’t do worse than you know who!

Bad teams always find a way to lose.
Ginn might be good, but he is no first-round pick.
Lousy GM. Lousy Coach. Bulk of team is not their fault, but this draft, especially #1 has to be put on their doorstep. Porter was the poorest sign of all time. All in all, Wayne must fire GM and Coach. Beck should start the rest of the season. We must have a new management team by draft, because we can't louse up this upcoming draft or we will be watching this dreadful mess for another five or six years.

Has it really come to this for Sun-Sentinel sports writers? I guess desperation is re-defined when you have to hinge a loss on a single penalty call. The Dolphins lost because they are a terrible team. Period.

You stoop to new lows Ethan - even for you.

Well at least we won't be pick to play overseas anytime soon. Now we have the first pick in April, hope they pick better than they call plays. Bill p.s. please pick a receiver who can catch the easy ones.

Pre-game when I noticed Bobby April was Buffalo's special teams coach I knew the 'phins were at a disadvantage. Why is Keith Armstrong never taken to task?
He looks confused on the sideline and his group plays accordingly.
"Special" teams has been a chronic weakness since Westhoff was dumped.

Ineptness is an understatement.

On the flip side though, this whole season (and not just from the fins), i have seen refs make horrible calls. They need to retrain some of these refs. Some of their calls are so questionable, it leads me to wonder if the games arent fixed somehow.

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
