After a great run so far this year, I think this week we are just to banged up to compete. But I'll be watching and rooting. Go Ravens!

Sounds good to me. I'll be at Sharp & Ostend at 5 am. All are invited.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!

Wouldn't waste my money watching a bunch of BIG MOUTH Thugs like Lewis and the rest of the defense. A real shameful bunch that is an embarrassment to this city every time they go out on the field. Hope the Eagles give them the worst beating of their lives this week.

I love it when you 98 pound weaklings talk smack. Crawl back into your hole girlfriend. |

Subtracting the 3 long runs (77,36,22) leaves 69 yds gained by the Giants running game. The long runs represent a major lapse of the Raven's run defense - no excuses. But since the 69 yards represent by far the major number of running plays including stuffing the Giants on a goal line stand, I do not think we should be throwing the Raven's defense under the bus yet.
Hey Squeeler, I still think the black and gold are going to lose 4 more games.. You might be wishing for a "wildcard" before its over. |
| ||||
that's reasonable "hmmm". But can we also subtract the QB scrambles by Flacco and have the ravens punt the ball back to the giants and factor in those stats? Can we then assume the Giants would have had more than the 69 net yds they got in your calculations? Can we also just assume that without those runs by flacco, he would have had to throw even more, which would have added to his sack total and maybe even another interception or two? I don't mind playing the "IF" game. It just has to go both ways.

Hey, I'm still excited about this team!
What was everyone's feeling about the season before game #1 when "Rookie" Joe Flacco was thrown to the wolfes with NO experience whatsoever? What Hope & what a Great future we have to look forward to. Finally, for the First time in 10 years we have a QB and an offense - that we will be watching Every week - get Better! Exciting times - Raven's we are with you!! |
This game is gonna be a close one. The Ravens will win it on a late field goal, or on a great defensive play in the closing minutes.

The Giants slapped the Ravens defense around like sissy gurl. They look like boys trying to tackle men. Is that Giants Running back really a giant? A couple of times the Giants just pushed the Ravens D into the turf like kids. The Giants are animals, they will repeat as Champs.
Thr Eagles have a better Defense the people realize. They will chase Joe around. I just hope he doesn't try to force the ball in certain situations.
The Ravens played a Cincinnati Bungels like game against the Giants. And the Bungels are baaad cats...meow. Think I just coughed up a furball...That is what they play, furball.
Ravens...lmao. Lame as the Texans.
i agree the game will hinge on the play of the ofensive line...which is somewhat battered...joe will be sacked and hurried by the eagles. the eagles will win a close one. |
Ravens will blow it, defense will crack, another bad performance by Boller....sorry..I have M Prestonitius, a little bipolar.
I hope Jarret Johnson is ready to stay in his lane. His over pursuit down the line on that 1st Jacobs run broke the game wide open. Like I tell the kids I coach, "stay home or somebody is going into your house". Lane disipline on defense and special teams is the key to a win on Sunday. No more talk is needed, just do it.
You are absolutely right. Notice how many times Johnson uses the term "anxious." That was a major problem against the Giants. Guys were too pumped up, they over pursued, they jumped off side. The defense needs to be tough and disciplined. |
Overrated - that is the word that best describes the Ravens defense. They pad their stats against teams with losing records, and get pounded by teams with winning records. The two stats they lead in are talk and excuses.
