The team took care of business like a good team is supposed to. Now we will see just how they stack up and any real playoff possibilities. Not going to be easy! Go Ravens!

Good observation. However, it does look like the Ravens, especially the offense, are peaking at just the right time for the final 4 games. |

The Ravens are paying the best football they have plyed in quite a few years .but it will be really difficult for them to make the playoffs even with a 10-6 record and that may be the best they can do,with the Steelers winning yesterday the Ravens will have to win the division to make the playoffs and I don't think they can do that now, to make as the wild card selection they will have to have a better record than the Colts and the Colts have a patty cake schedule the res of the way and looks to me like they should not lose any of those games, we can only hope for the best. It is real tough to be 10-6 and not make the playoofs and I think that is just the scenario that is going ti play out unfotrtunately!

What the hell, they're doing a lot better than I thought they would and a wholw lot better than Fire Trembley predicted,4-12!!! I am really looking forward to the next few weeks and the draft.

Hate to say it but even 10-6 might be a stretch looking at the schedule |

Most every bog I visit on this topic has the same responses. It is NOT impossible for B'more to win the division, nor for the Colts/Pats/ whoever else is in the wildcard hunt to lose a few games and get pushed out. Goes without saying, right?
It is not a foregone conclusion that Indy and Pitts will win out...remember that Indy barely squeeked by the Browns for crying out loud. Pittsburg looks as good as ever, but they are human just like the rest of the league. They still have Dallas and the Titans to deal with. The talking heads and know-it-all fans can say 10-6 all day long, but they still have to play the games. |

Nobody said it was impossible, just the probabilities. Look at the schedules. |

It will be fun to watch the Ravens fold in the playoffs...cant wait!

Actually, I saw a couple of articles that state that if the Ravens split the next two games, the authors feel that they would wind up tied with New England for the 6th spot (but would get the nod because of a better conference record). If they go 11-5 they would be a cinch. However, let's remember back in August how we felt about the upcoming season. Compared to then, I am having a great time just enjoying the Ravens! |

The Ravens will run the table. Count on it. Go Ravens!

Mike B, the Ravens have two competitors: The Squealers for the Division and the Patriots for the second Wild Card slot. As for the Patriots, they are one game behind the Ravens just like we are one game behind the Colts. Also, they would have to win two more than the Ravens - having the same record will just send them home. I forgot to mention that yesterday - sorry. |
