Eagles find some positives in loss

Full story: The Morning Call

It was an outcome that could be attributed to three interceptions thrown by fill-in quarterback A.J. Feeley, a couple of late penalties and a bad long snap on special teams, and to the New England Patriots ...

AJ showed that this team's problem is its franchise QB named Donovan McNabb. Feely lit up the Pats using almost all of his receivers by throwing touch passes. Not the bullets that McNabb is notorious for. Sorry, but, McNabb has outlived his usefulness in Philly. Time for him to leave.

i agree and disagree i mean ya feeley did great but look at other teams like all the teams that had garcia ya hes hurt but he is really good he led a pretty crapy team to a pretty good year and they have a shot at the playoffs and look at kitna ya he is getting sacked cuz he has no off line and absoulutley no team at all except 4 CALVIN JOHNSON and he is doing good and look at drew brees that guy was in san diego and they let him go his team was incredible last year this year he is one of the top quarterbacks when it comes down to yards although his team probably wont make it to the playoffs if he still had L.T. he would be great all san diego needs is a Q.B. and its becuase RIVERS played one good game and they got read of BREES

favrez num 1: You are clearly an illiterate fool with a gang-banger wannabee mentality!

Of course the Eagles should have learned something from the Patriots game. They should have learned finally that when McSlobb is out -- they do very well. When McSlobb is in -- they clearly $uck very much. The entire team is demoralized and confused because McSlobb $ucks so much.

McSlobb was entirely a creation of the Philadelphia media, ESPN, Eagles management and Andy Reid -- desperately sacrificing the team and the loyal fans for a black QB superbowl champ. McSlobb has always been way over-rated, over-hyped and over-paid, because he has always $ucked. McSlobb is a hysterical whiner, a miserable, race-baiter, and he made terrible soup commercials too (until even Cambells realized that he really $ucks).

Rush was right years ago. McSlobb's natural god-given athletic talent has been overshadowed by his stupidity, panicky interceptions, fumbles and media attacks on the real football players -- T.O., Garcia, Slaughter & Trotter.

Our problem is that the Eagles will not learn anything. Reid will put McSlobb back in, we'll get the $hit beat out of us, and the team will be destroyed.

I thought the pass to the EZ, at best, was ill-advised. No matter who caught that ball, it would have resulted in the
PAT's winning. If Curtis had caught it for a TD, there would have been to much time for Brady, guaranteed! Since Samuel caught it, that was it.It seemed that Curtis lulled in his stop and go like he was thinking, just stopping would have been a better idea. That medium stuff over the middle was killing N.E. and it was perfect for using up the time, so that the Eagles would have scored with not enough time, even for Brady. If they didn't get the TD they certainly would have sent it into OT, with Akkers

he made the mistake on two consecutive drives to end the game. the pats also had all their timeouts and brady, the best two minute guy hands down. point is our defense stepped up late when they had to and sealed the game. so stop dreaming of what might have happened, it didnt.
