I've just decided that somebody up there simply doesn't favor cheaters. This win is for every hard working football coach and their players. This is for those who teach sportsmanship, honesty and fair play every day.
Forget the outcome, the league office is a bunch of over paid candy butts and New England will always carry the tag of being cheaters. |

surely one of the best superbowl games ever! And to think the Giants were double digit underdogs! Congrats NY!

I was glad to see NE lose. They didn't deserve to win after the cheating scandal. And losing in the super bowl, especially after winning all their other games, is gonna stick in their craw.

New York Giants, and the home of Bill Clinton, winning at Phoenix Stadium, home of John McCain. Is there anything better??? Naturally, I rooted for the Giants!

From a sportsmans vision I think it was a hard fought battle. The NYG I thought blew several opportunities but, the Patriots just played tough football.
It will be interesting to see them play a regular season game next year. They were both great. NYG on this day won by the score. You must remember on the line there is a whole different game played. Respect them all. No one ever mentions the name of the defense or offense line. It is always the offensive individuals that score points. |

I think the fact that he ended up on his can 18 times played a big role in that! If a quarterback doesn't have time to throw, bad things will happen....believe me... I am a Detroit lions fan! |

Great game. Those last four minutes were nerve breaking! I loved how Manning told his teammates to get up off their duffs and get back in the game and keep playing. I almost lost hope there myself. That is the trait of a great player! He got his team back out there, to give it another try. Miraculous!

I suffer that with you - maybe next year the Lions can play both halves of the season. |

I wonder what Tiki thinks of Manning now? |

LOL! yea, they just can't get it right! They change quarterbacks, rotate most of the team... fire coaches... and still the same 'ol lions.... the only thing we don't have control of is the ownership and Matt Freakin Millen.... and I'm not sure I could even blame Him anymore! I refuse to spend one nickel going to the new "Ford Field" until they put a real team together..... but then again, I would rather support local high school sports and amateur teams than spend big bucks on any pro team... my money is just too valuable. I haven't been to a Lions game since 1994, and that was the last pro game I went to. I can take 2 people to 4 semi-pro hockey games for the price i would pay for one red wings game.... I'd rather watch it on tv! Have a great night! |

Well said! I agree, the best I have seen in a long time! Those Pats needed to be humbled a bit! Belichick needs to learn some TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP! Do they make Sportsmanship classes like etiquette classes? They should!! |

The G-MEN owned the line, both the defensive side and the offensive. Eli could could let the play develop then stand back and watch how the play ended up, Tom terrific spent alot of time on his back, looking up at the roof. As far as the point spread, I wonder how many book makers jumped out of tall buildings? |

yea, sportsmanship has gone out with the ages... One thing I like about hockey is that after the series is over, no matter what blood was shed, they all shake each other's hand... more sports need to incorporate this. have fun on your trip! B careful and root for Dale Jr. for me just one lap!... I wonder just what kind of year he will have not driving for his Dad's team... kinda sad if you ask me.. have a great evening. |
