I think it's a good trade, Favre only got GB a 3rd round pick. I'm not sold on Cassel, the Pats lost to every playoff team they played (except the Cardinals), I think Cassel is a huge upgrade for the Chiefs, but he'll be an average QB without the weapons he had in New England. With Vrabel gone, could they get Ray Lewis?

Hhhhhmmmmm Lets see here

The Patsies had Mike Vrable traded to the Chiefs for a disclosed draft pick before Cassel was delt to the Cheifs.

Then the Patty Cakes pulled refused a 3 team trade with the Buccs and Broncos that would have given the Broncos Matt Cassel and the 19th pick in the 09 draft, the Patty Cakes the 12th over all pick in the 09 draft, and the Buccs Jay Cutler. Then the Patty Cakes just threw Matt Cassel in the Mike Vrable trade with the Chiefs and only got a second round pick.

But either way I'd say the Patsies got hosed, since Nick Casserio will just draft a bunch of bust in 2009 because he is another Matt Millen waiting to happen.

Ray Lewis re-singed with Baltimore. This season the New England Patty Cakes are doing exactly what they did last year in free agency. Signing a bunch of has beens and never will be's like Sean Springs and Greg Lewis who are just asking to be cut in training camp just like John Lynch, Fernando Bryant, Victor Hobsen, Jason Webster, Marcus Pollard, and TJ Shoughter were last year.

Those days of people not playing for money (don't get me wrong, the people who play for the big bucks still play hard) went away when free agency was invented.

They have rules in NASCAR to keep things fair and it's still a lot of fun but in these pro sports and even college and high school sports its what money can buy with no limits! Takes all the fun out of it! I love it when the rich team loses!

The Chiefs are ovously smarter then your sorry ass 18* and DONE without CHEATING Pattycakes since the Patriots turned down a 3 team trade involving Denver and Tampa that would have sent Matt Cassel to Denver, Jay Cutler to Tampa. Then Denver would have gotten the 19th overall draft pick and New England the 12th over draft pick.

Looks like Scott Pioli outsmarted old fat bastard belitits on this one.

PS.
New England Patriots+1 Giant loss+1 Giant injury=18*andDONEwithoutCHEATI NG=no more playoff wins=*dynasty OVER!!!!!!!!!!

How bout those Viqueens, if they had waited, they could have made a move for Cutler, now they have two lousy QB's who will sandbag their team for years to come! Looosahs!

And, the Vikeys gave up a 4th round draft pick to get this loser Sage. Sage and his 30 TD/29 INT stat in 12 career starts (2001/2008). Needless to say much like the loser Texans, the Vikes will not see the Super Bowl in 2009.
