The story was a good idea, just poorly written.

I'm small and have an arm like Johnny Damon - do you think I have a shot at being an NFL QB?

I think the photo must have been chosen by some chick who doesn't know the game or somebody who doesn't like Orlo. Not very flattering having a safety called against him for stepping out of bounds.

I went to UConn at the same time Orlovsky was our QB. I'm a Houston native and live here now, and I look forward to seeing him on game days..unfortunately, just on the sidelines. Matt Schaub isn't the ideal QB for the Texans, so I hope to see Orlovsky play every now and then. In the meantime, I'll get an Orlovsky jersey.

In the meantime, you also should get a life.

I think Orlovsky could give Matt Schaub a good run for his money when training camps really get rolling. He will likely be the #2, but could step right in if either something happens to Schaub or they want to give him some work early on.
And James in Middlefield - like Dan R - I'm going to start looking for a Texans jersey with Orlovsky's name as well.

This is ridiculous - anyone who knows anything about UCONN football OR Dan Orlovsky know that he is anything but known for his work ethic. In fact he is known around the league for just the opposite - half assing, do enough to get by.

Then why did Houston award him a very generous contract to be a backup?

What would be the adequate staffing requirement for a Complaince Dept to oversee and police the stupid, ignorant, foolish comments like the Brain Surgeon Tim here?
Adequately staffed Compliance Dept solves all problems!

Tim, you are a MORON!
Dan Orlovsky was a leader on and off the field in his time at UCONN. He was well respected by his Coaches and peers. He has and continues to do great things through his Charity Foundation for many worthwhile causes.

Danny O is a great kid, always was, and shows that attitude is important. A kid with his talent - many of them coming through the ranks. But who do you want on your team? You want a good person, a good example, and that's what DO is. My prediction is that Danny reaches his dream. He works hard, brings a lot of heart, and remember Kurt Warner didn't break into the league till he was in his late 20's. Kurt Warner will be in the Hall of Fame. So keep at it Danny.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
