Thank goodness for no "coin-toss" to decide who the starting QB is.

Urlacher's groin better be okay. I read reports about him showing up in the best shape he;s been in in a while. They say he's bigger and stronger this year than the past 2. Perhaps he saw the film of all of the one-man blocks he couldn't shed. Whatever t was, I want to see the Urlacher of old on the field this year and groin injuries sometime seem to linger.

I know that the Bears still have coaches that can't make game time adjustments that LEAD 2 victories.

Ask the Steelers why they let Burress go.

"Just because Friday's development that Burress' court date likely will be continued until the fall gave interested teams an opening to start pursuing Burress doesn't mean the Bears should."

Didn't Haugh write an article two days ago entitled "Time Ripe for Bears to Get Burress?" Seems like he should pick a lane on such a polarizing subject.

I know you're a cheesehead Bears fan, but please don't say "Chi-Town." Makes you sound hickish.

- I know that your complaint about the coaching staff is getting very old.
- I know that you probably don't even know what a "game time adjustment" really is.
- I know that last year both the offense and defense played bad as a whole, with the exception to Briggs and Forte. So to blame losses solely on the coaches is baseless, ignorant, and foolish.
- I know that you'll be singing a different tune once we win this division and show that we are contenders. But don't try and jump back on the bandwagon. Your seat's already been taken by another fair weather.

Really this should say "nothing" ten times.

I know you pushed the trade Haugh, but you should hide your Cutler crush a little more. It's makes it even harder than usual to take you seriously.

It'll never happen, but the Bears should trade Urlacher to a SB contender and get serious about a quick-turnaround rebuilding. He's not going to get any better, and is on the down side of his career. I appreciate all he's done for the team, but the Super Bowl-readiness clearly isn't there for this season, and it's time to make the hard decision. Like I said though, it'll never happen.

I hope Brett plays for the Viqueens, too, Lance. And I hope you get the opportunity to stand over his cold, dead body December 28 at Soldier Field while a national TV audience gasps in horror waiting for the hearse to scoop his corpse off the frozen turf.

PS, Santa, this is ALL I want for Christmas.

I have to disagree. If he's bigger and stronger than he was last year, I don't see why he can come back and be very effective. Trading would really mean we're in a rebuilding season when we're not. We are not the Lions or the Chiefs. This team is built to win now. I agree that they should look at a younger MLB next draft but right now, if healthy Urlacher should remain a Bear.

Yeah, it'll come down to "Monsters of the Midway" between DEs. Will Urlacher and Harris be healthy and READY ?

1. 31 for a LB is right on the cusp. Brian has maybe 2 really strong years left, if he can stay healthy.

2. Personally, i think the Bears desperately need a quality WR; however, if Angelo remains true to his verbage about accountability, i just don't see how he signs Plexico.

4. Less talk, more action. Good for Cutler !!!!

6. Hopefully, Bowman makes huge impressions come Sept. CB is a big area of concern imo.

8. Kevin Jones... i'll believe it, when i see it.

9. Lovie as the DC... will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out.

10. Orlando Pace... that one surely surprized me. But, i do like it, if he's even at 3/4 of what he once was, it should be an upgrade.

OK Optimist, we usually agree on things, but on this one I have a left turn. If I'm GM of the Bears I'd listen to any and all offers for him now while he's still healthy in the off season. Let me remind you of another franchise that held onto their core players into their declines and paid heavily, the late 80's and early 90's Boston Celtics.

Time will tell, but at Urlacher's age he'll be nicked up constantly these next 2 or 3 seasons until he retires due to accumulated injuries.

Hello fellow Bear fans: Here are 10 things I know(my opinion of course).
1.McGray is a Idiot & doesnt belong here!
2.I am totally Thrilled to have Jay Cutler as our Q.B. Yeah!!
3.I am sick of hearing about Brett Favre!
4.This is the best offseason I can remember,in the 43 years I have been a fan!!
5.We wont have a Q.b battle or controversy this year!
6.Lovie is the best choice to run his OWN defense!
7.Marinelli is the best choice for turning around our D-Line! Lovie and Marinelli dominated with this defense & we have talented players for it!
8.Matt Forte will have a big year,with a rebuilt O-line & Cutler reducing the 8 man fronts!
9.Greg Olsen will have a big year and will be going to the Pro Bowl!!
10.DA Bears will be clicking on all three phases this year. Da Bears will win the division at 12-4!!
Take care fellow Bear fans!! BEAR DOWN!! GO BEARS,2009 DIVISION CHAMPIONS!!
