I will not spend one thin dime on any tickets or licensed Bear related merchandise, until they show me that they spend up to the salary cap. For a team that makes money hand over fist, they are refusing to do anything that resembles trying to put forward a competitive team. Their lack of serious effort to address the offensive line is embarassing. They got outbid for a guy that they seemed to value for about 3 million a year. That is pathetic. Valuing John St. Claire is pathetic. Counting on a rookie to be your starting left tackle is pathetic. And btw, Olin Kreutz sucks. Everytime a bears running back get stuffed in the backfield on an outside run or screen, it's Kreutz man that has him buried in the grass. I hate the Bears right now. Angelo is just the mouthpiece for the most pathetic ownership in the league. He'd make moves if they gave him the dough.

Amen brother Ben; you took the words right out of my mouth. Nothing will change until they start seeing empty seats at Soldier Field. That's why they didn't raise ticket prices for the first time this year because they know people are on the brink of boycotting the beloved.

We have different Opinions of Orton I think he'll be a Good QB and you think he is just a back up. Without any upgrades I see him in the middle of the back of the existing QB's maybe ranked betweeen 15 to 20.
With any kind of upgrade. I see him closer to 14 to 10.
And that's fine. I just think there's a REMOTE chance here to get a francise QB, and I think the Bears need to at least inquire about it.

When I said Kyle is a quality backup, he joins about 10 to 15 other "starters" that I would put in that same category. Given a good defense and a few offensive weapons, most of them can get a team to the playoffs. I just want to hold my team to a higher standard.

The big problem for me is that Angelo focused almost solely on the "quarterback position" (almost throwing Kyle under the bus) during his end-of-the-season speech. And he hasn't done ANYTHING about it!

I admire your conviction, but it's a no win situation. There may be no shows, but those seats are already paid for. And I'm gonna guess that they didn't raise ticket prices, due solely to the tanking economy.

In the end, there will always be another individual (or corporation) who will pay for individual game or season tickets. My best advice is to get Sunday Ticket, and enjoy better football on Sundays.

As ususal for this team, the draft is the key. We will be goin elephant shoppin boys and girls, lookin for productive linemen on both sides.
Somewhere in this draft we will attempt to replicate the fortune we had by choosing Forte. A receiver, saftey, and cornerback will be chosen in the mid to later rounds, so lets hope we get as lucky as the Bulls got with Derrick Rose.

.

Why ??

They had the chance LAST year, with plenty of good choices available,..... and couldn't pull it off !!

What makes you even think that they're capable ??........ They can't construct a complicated trade for a player,.. or, to move up in the Draft,.. or, to get multiple Draft choices !!

They'll just do the same old dumb thing that they always do .......... sit on their single Draft choice,.. and hope that the #1 choice will drop to #18 !..... Yeah, right !!!!...... Or,.. and this is my favorite,... TRADE DOWN,.. and get even MORE mediocre players !!

.
No way I am saying

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
