I dont get it - not that Green is a bad player, but was this really un upgrade over Goodsen?

We needed a vet CB bad and now we got one I think Lukas would be a good pick up but Bill and Co must have seen something they like so I trust that Green will stay healthy(Groves too for that matter) and we can draft the best avalible player in each round.We will draft a CB or 2 at some point and a WR ILB and O and D lineman

Who's Goodsen? j/k. Green is likely cheaper. Goodman actually played good the second half of last season. Not worth 10 million guarantee Denver paid him. On the positive side, it was essential to get someone with experience.

We just got 4 years younger and don't forget that Goodman only looked good toward the end of last year. Its not like he had a great season but he was playing strong at the end of the year.

Scouts.com didn't have much of a difference in total ratings between the two. Don't look for much of a drop off in play next year...

Horrible pickup coming from a Cards fan. This guy has 2 picks in 4 years and he even started 33 games. He will deliver a few big hits, but overall he's terrible. We're talking about a guy placed on the inactive list half the year in lieu of Michael Adams and Ralph Brown.

One problem, none of those players you mentioned were aquired or drafted "injured" or have habitual injury problems.
