colts run defense and panther run offense = advantage panthers? panthers are not known for being a strong run team but a good passing team with delhomme and smith. i thinh somebody was just trying not to seem like the complete homer.

If Peyton can confuse and confound the defense with pass fakes and then run options, he will have an Awesome day over the Carolina Panthers. After seeing my Colts with their defense and then their dominating offense, I give the Colts a small 28 pt advantage.

Answer me this you say the Colts run game gets the edge against the Patriots run defense which is statistically better then the Colts run D but the Colts only average 4 more yards per game (Colts 140- Patriots 136).

Now the Patriots average 136 yards per game with the Colts defense giving up nearly 107 per game compared to the Patriots defense at 87 and you call that even?

Dude you are a complete homer. Your reasoning makes no sense.

The Colts don't stand a chance. The Pats are the greatest team in SPORTS history not just the NFL. Vegas is crazy! The colts need at least 12 and a half more points!

its easy to run the score up on a bunch of winnless teams.try 7-0 on for size. you didnt see the colts 1st string trying to pad there stats.

I will speak for all New York fans when I say we wouldn't mind an Indy Superbowl repeat. We would LOVE a win this Sunday against Belicheat and the smug Pats. All of Boston is crowing about the Red Sox WS title and the march to a New England Superbowl trophy. Dungy, Peyton and the rest are all that stands in the way of the evil empire....

Waaaaaaaaaa, we suck, our coach is a rat, we can't win, so it's up to you guys to do it for us.

Did I get that about right?

Thanks, jetsfan. I have to say these Boston fans are about as obnoxious a lot as I've ever come across.

Even though I live in Red Sox territory, and would like to have rooted for them, their fans who swarm the Indy forums like a plague of patsie flies made me want to root against them.

Oh, so the Cowboys were winless? Werent they 5-0? Huh, it's funny because I thought the Redskins were 4-2 coming into last sundays game.

This is going to be a hell of a November 4th. Super Bowl 41 and a half.

As a Pat's fan, I have to compliment the author on a really balanced comparison. I don';t know if Bostyon hometown writers could have been as fair. Good article with well thought out and supported conclusions.

Just take a good look at the Pats schedule this year, it is a joke, they play 3 potential playoff teams ALL YEAR. gimme a break. Pittsburgh, Indy, and Dallas are the only teams that can count for anything. Oh, and I love running up the score by the way, good way to leave your QB out to get nailed late in the game. Didn't see Manning on the field with 20 seconds to go in a game to throw just one more and go up by 4 scores. blah.

Exactly HOW did Manning beat Marino's record? Does the Thanksgiving Day Detroit debacle ring any bells? It was such a gimme game, and I don't recall Peyton sitting down after 3 touchdown passes saying, "Enough is enough, let's not run up the score now guys." Nope, he stayed in for 2 more.

Colt fans need to face reality, The pats are going to kill them. And I'm not being a homer, if you think the pats haven't beaten anyone, ask the Chargers, Cowboys, and a top 10 defense in Washington. They came into the game with a 4-3 record. prediction 44-10 Pats.
