Less than a year into our daughter’s treatment for leukemia, we were struggling to pay our rent, utilities, groceries, etc. while keeping gas in the car for numerous trips to the hospital and clinic. We wrote to The Jay Fund and within a week they had paid one month of bills for us. It was not a great sum of money; but it was just enough to give us some breathing room so we could concentrate on getting her well and not how we were going to be able to afford it. I have the greatest respect for Tom Caughlin and all those that work with and support The Jay Fund and can never thank them enough!!!!
