Minnesota Vikings: Could Jerome Simpson Be the Next Cris Carter?

I agree Simpson very well could be the next Cris Carter with the Help of someone like a Randy Moss I think if the Vikings went after someone like Mike Wallace from Pittsburgh he could help turn this team around.. I dont see the Vikings getting the chance of drafting one of the receivers in next years draft, The odds of that happening is next to none. The Vikings need to make a offer to the Steelers For Wallace. IF This owner really wants a winning team He needs to open up his pocket book. He did it for OLD Favre & now dont want to risk doing it again & He is going to need to if he wants a winning team OR will us fans have to weigh for years to see a winning team. Will it take losing there fan base before he see's the light. We seen the 49er fans turn to Oakland even the Packers lost some of there fan base for a few years I hope the Owner opens his pocket book & gets this tteam on the right track & Not take years to do it.

Now that the stadium deal is in place, I'm hoping Zigmunt reverts to his stadium push days, and opens the wallet. Viking brass have been pretty quiet lately, and draft picks will take some time to get this team back to competetive.

I am not sure it is about opening his pocket book to get the Vikings going back on track. There is a cap involved too and I have never seen the Vikings problems being short on dough. They need to rebuild the team with young talent and try and make a push in a few years and keep building for long term success. It is ridiculous to break the bank on some over priced free agents who never pan out fully and be in cap hell for the next years. The Vikings roster is not very good right now and some of your best players are getting old. They need to think long term because the short term is already fu**ed

The Vikings had a Super Bowl ready team a few years ago minus a QB. Wilf threw a sh** load of money at Favre to bring him in TWICE.
