they still stink

Where was the Browns defense yesterday? Definitely not on the football field. They can't score 41 points every game and win.
Think positive Browns Fans - At least Anderson didn't throw an interception. Browns are still sniffing the Steelers A$$ by 1 1/2 games in the conference. GO STEELERS !!! |
Where are all of the Charlie Frye supporters who claimed the sluggish offense was everyone's fault but his?
Congratulations but Old Man Gump is right... The Browns will never score 40+ points every game. They still need alot of work.
I hate to say this, but even the marginal success they've had the first 6 games... Crennel still isn't an 8-8 coach. The ownership really needs to cut RC and move forward with someone who is either a proven head coach or who has much better potential than RC. |
Any quarterback is only as good as his O line performance(and Edwards hanging on to the ball)...you're correct...Anderson stepped in against Pittsburgh and blew everyone away right? Same as with New England. Who needs Quinn now?(maybe the Browns could trade him for some run stuffers) Anderson is The Answer. |

Woot .. Browns are awesome

Steelers fans are very annoying. Steelers fans who feel the need to interupt are worse. Oh wait...that is all of them because it is what they do best.
I'll take this Browns offense over the Steelers. |
You are the same person that said we couldn't score 51 points a game. Well so far you are right, but the defense has gotten better. But I have to compare Lemon yesterday to a major league baseball team facing a rookie for the first time. We had no idea how this guy plays. You will never be happy will you? GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT |

It was nice seeing DA throw the ball away a few times yesterday, rather than throwing into double and triple coverage. And he didn't throw the ball behind many receivers, either.
Quinn has done a good job in helping develop Anderson's game, and in improving Anderson's decisions. The Browns are growing a two-headed QB monster! The O-line is a huge reason for a big part of the improvement. |

We added high quality to the offensive line and the longer they play together the better they'll get. You can see them moving people off the ball. Combine that with a better system (Chudzinski from San Diego)and we've got something to enjoy.

Good work on Sunday afternoon!!

Holy crap!!! Is this team actually showing potential? Or was it just luck because the Dolphins have yet to win a game??

What do these posts say about Steelers fans? I sure don't know any Browns fans that go posting garbage on the websites of Pittsburgh area newspapers. What are you so angry and bitter about?
The Browns have definitely exceeded expectations heading into the bye week, and their offense is a young, well-rounded running back away from being one of the league's best. If Brady Quinn really is heads and tails better than Derek Anderson, I'm looking forward to seeing that. The defensive line needs work so they can stop the run and open up the linebackers to rush the passer, but there's little that can be done about that in the middle of the season, personnel wise anyway. As for the comment about Charlie Frye. The kid took his lumps, never pointed the finger, and was a good team mate. He's a U of A product, and I hope he succeeds, and do believe Seattle is a good fit for him. Mike Holmgren has a good history of coaching up young QB's. As far as who was the problem with the offense last year, it's pretty irrelevant at this point. |

If during the Bye ..they can do something with this defense....Look out for these Browns down the Stretch!!!

The Browns offense is clearly top 5 in all of football. The defense needs to step it up, but the schedule is pretty weak. So long as we keep putting up 30+ points a game, the Browns will make the playoffs this year. With this offense, that is definitely possible.
And I can't wait for the rematch against Pittsburgh. Maybe after we smoke them at the Ketchup Bottle their ignorant fans will stop posting their crap on our boards. YINZ in DAWNTAWN pissburgh need to learn how speak English before you can talk smack. |
its potential. numbers dont lie. we have a top ranked defense and a bad defense. offense wins games defense wins championships. winning games is alot better then losing. maybe we will have a defense next year. |
looks like jerome harrison had a better game than wright.

I hate to burst anybody's bubble, but the Browns have yet to win on the road this year. They beat the Ravens, but the other two wins were against teams that have combined for 1 win. Also, the Browns haven't won 2 games in a row in a long time, longer than any other NFL team. Let's hold off on the ridiculous playoff talk. And also, the Browns ARE NOT a top 5 offense. You may have a few stats that show that now, but let's not get crazy.

Grump, you are so offensive. You like that line that you use so often.
It says a lot about you. Post no more Grumpy. |

I am glad that the Browns won yesterday!! I just knew they would. Go Cleveland Browns! I am proud to be a Browns fan.:)
