Stuart didnt mesh in the physical play that Oakland demanded in its secondary. With a weak D-line to go along with his woes, Stuart was unable to produce the type of sucess that Al Davis may have wanted from him. The Raiders like to play 4-4 with the safety moving in occasionally to stop the run, etc. Stuart wasnt made for that type of play. He prefered more coverage and ball action and tackling hard wasnt his style. With the addition of Gibril Wilson, the Raiders will more than likely get the type of attack they desire from a safety as Wilson was known fo rhis tenacious tackling with the Giants.

The raiders are happy to be free of stuart schweigert is how this should read. He just wasnt very instinctual, fast, strong, smart or good. That is why he got cut.

Stuart Schwiegert, is a dump truck no matter who he plays for. This guy was not physical at all, and the Redskins will soon find that out. He is a special team player and that's about it. The Raiders were very smart to cut this softie, and now they have a Monster by the name of Gibril Wilson. GO RAAIIDASS.

Stu played safety like Micheal Jackson (the singer). The man was a total waste of a roster spot.

Runners ran over Stu as if he was a girl dressed in Raider garb. Stu has been dragged down field with is face buried in the runners ass for 100's of yards during the past couple of years. He should be able to tell you how every back in the AFC West ass smells.

The Skins need to do what the Raiders failed to do. Give him a G-String bikini and some Bom Bom's and regulate him to cheerleader status, because that's all he's good for.

The she/man was the weakest safety I have ever seen

I would have to say Stuart Schwiegert is one of the most softest players I have ever seen. It was just ridiculous how this guy was always taking bad angles on tackles. You could see that he never wanted to be aggressive on the field he just wanted come in late on pile ups to make it look like he made a tackle. I new when the raiders drafted this clown it was a major mistake.

Eloquent, but "pom pom's" are the plastic things cheerleaders wave around.

From what I hear he was badly out of position on one of the Colts TD's and was beat by a 7th round rookie...can't do that when you are trying to earn a spot.

Apparently he was still stuck with the Raider system in his head and in the Redskin system he had more freedom and wasn't used to it...That's about all I can figure

Why would anybody would interested in a player who is SOFT. The only job he will probably get with a team is holding a clip board.

He was at one time but now that he's been cut a week before preseason starts, his value has gone extremely down.
