I dont know about this guy, but judging from his resume hes older than dirt... looks like he cant keep his job long either, 1 year here, 2 years there, the longest he stuck was 4 years at Carolina and was subsequently fired from them. A couple of superbowls with Gibbs is OK. but that was eons ago. I dont know. GO PHINS!!!

Why has Henning lasted on 2 to 3 years at every stop. I'm curious if he wore out his welcome or possibly wasn't up to the task.
Plus he seems like a run first guy which is not what wins in todys NFL

If we are going to hire someone that old bring back Don Shula. I think Chris Palmer would be a better fit.

Maybe Parcells knows something we don't but his resume would get tossed in the private sector.

THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS*!!!!!!
Patriots* will at best be the second team to bat 1000. Been there done that. And the Fins did most of it with their 2nd string QB and had to go through Pittsburgh, a team with 5 Hall of Famers in Pittsburgh to get to the Superbowl. Also no bogus ref calls or ignoring of calls to stack the deck and no suspicion of performance enhancing drugs (see Rodney Harrison, who was also voted Dirtiest Player In the League).

Don't care who the OC is - we need the groceries. If Parcell's finds us a quarterback, that is all that matters. Lots of needs - QB, No. 1 receiver, the line. I'm more interested in the draft and free agency than any of these coaches. We need talent. I liked it when Ireland said the team was going to be "bigger" - sounds great to me - go to it. GO PHINS!!!!!

I think they kept the asst special teams guy but not sure if he'll be the one.

One of the best things coming out of this shakeup is we finally got rid of armstrong.

You have to trust the "Tuna Pack" they know way more than us - when it comes to football.

It's interesting that the two super bowl coaches are Tuna protege.

Anybody the Tuna wants should be OK by any of us but the most astute geniuses on this board.

At least wait until the second pick of the draft B4 whining.

Go Fins!!!

"Eons ago"?? He went to superbowl with Panthers and they should have won if their kicker didnt shank the kickoff right after and give Brady the ball on the 40 - and, he got fired so Fox could keep his job which was not his fault with 3rd string running back, weinke at quaterback and a depleted o-line - and they still almost went to playoffs - how's that?

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Sagittarius

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
