As a Falcons fan, I can only say, "Thanks for the vindication." ATL played ARI on the road last weekend and gave a much better showing. CAR looked lost against ARI.

Carolina was a fraud all season and AZ should have won the first game. Delhomme is not a big game qb and it's hard to play decent football with one hand around your throat. What a choke job by the Carolina players and coaches.

Carolina was a 9.5 point favorite, playing at home.
Warner & Fitzgerald destroyed them.

And Jake says, "the blame should be on me". HA! You are a joke, Jake. One of the most overrated QB's in NFL history who has won games on luck, not talent. 5 turnovers in a playoff game? Of course you are to blame. We know that. Perhaps the Lions will trade for you with their No.1 draft pick this year.(They aren't that brilliant, ya know?). And Fox says, "great QB, just a bad day". No concerns by him. Just another day at the office.(Lions are looking for a coach...).

Safe to say Jake Delhomme is not feeling the love in the tarheel state today. That was a sad excuse of a football game on the panters behalf.

delhomme has never been anything but an average player, with exceptionally great receivers to save him, and make him look good!

Okay, so I am a GIRL and really don't know that much about football, but here are my thoughts (for what they are worth, which is nothing): you have the third best RUSHING game in the NFL so why is DelHomme passing the ball all of a sudden. I heard someone one ESPN say last night that Arizona had "shut down" Carolina's running game - NOT. The fact is that Williams and Stewart never got to TOUCH the ball. Geez, why not stick with what works? And yes, Delhomme and Offensive Coordinator Jeff Davidson DESERVE the blame - HELLO!!!! How about firing Davidson and signing a quarterback???

Sweet that Dallas cowgirls didn't make the playoffs though!

And I can't wait to watch the Tar Heels lose at Wake today.

I have to say the panthers were over rated, but most of that was on Jakes shoulders. He scares me everytime he touches the ball. They need a good new quarterback behind him to take over. Don't fire fox yet, wait one more year and get a better hard nose football coach who's family lives two hours away, Bill Cowher.

I think this says it all. This was posted on the Charlotte Observer website.

"jake delhomme is the worst starting qb in the game and has been since he came in the league. throwing into double coverage off his back foot and being intercepted over and over again. steve smith has made his "career". just look at anything that jake has been credited for doing and you will find steve smith as the reason. he is a headcase, cry baby, its never my faught, selfish jackass. its always about jake, its always someone else who messed up. he needs to be put on waivers...not traded because anything we get for him will be cursed as he is. he will never lead us to a superbowl win, never...go back to louisiana jake and play with your horses. fox is a coward for leaving him in the game. there is loyalty and there is cowardly stupidity. i feel sorry for the fans who paid good money to watch jake delTURNOVER embarras the team, state and himself. i feel sorry for jerry richardson who puts too much faith into losers having to watch this game...he must be sick on top of being sick. go away jake... just f@@@@@@@ go away."

When Jake stinks, he stinks the whole game...he does
NOT improve. Why did Fox let him play the second half? The backup QB could NOT have done worse.

What was in the Gatorade...liquid dumbass?

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Cancer

Mercury turning retro is offering you the chance to make sweeping and long-lasting changes to your life, and to clear the ground for some fertile growth in 2010. Lawyers and legal matters, debates, contract negotiations, partnership or other alliances, and joint ventures of any kind need attention. As a Cancerian you don't like endings, but you must now bring an end to any situation or relationship that is holding you back or has passed its sell-by date. Look forward, not back, if you want a glittering future.
