it is obvious that Rothliesberger will do the same darn thing to Paymah if he is on the field. It is also obvious that Sapp and Asher Allen will have to hold down the fort since Paymah is a complete and utter scab. What a complete buzzkill this defesnive secondary has become as they are now ranked 24th against the pass.
Frazier and Co. need to overturn tables if necessary. This is now a serious problem for this team, no denying it, no sugar coating it.

Hope Winfield plays, but even if he doesn't, a back-up like Paymah would probably fair a little better with a whole week to gear up for a start. Then again, covering Hines Ward all day is going to be a tough assignment no matter who is playing back there.

Bum Deal! Well, hope you get well and hurry back AW. Meanwhile, get Asher Allen in there or make a trade.

Nice spelling Packer dork! You must be so proud of that night school GED.
You were the kid that had to re-take the spelling test on Friday's in elementary school and had boggers wiped on him on way home from school.
I will not even justify your pathetic post with any comments.

No one is going to help this team in the secondary. Without Winfield we're going to see a secondary torched by the Steelers. The situation in Minn. is one of desperation. A SB if they had a secondary, a first round exit in the playoffs if they don't find one soon.

My fear about Childress's coaching is coming to fruition. You can have ALL the talent you want, but that alone won't take you to the next level.
Childress will be the demise of this team. It pains me to say it but I feel it is true. Too many good coaches out there for Chilly to get by on raw talent.
Did you see the Strib asking if a contract extension is in order? Are you kidding me?

If I had my choise, and Winfield is not quit ready next week. I would activate Aster Allen to play eather corner or nickel. and sit Winfield he is much more important next week in Green Bay and for the rest of the year. One loss wont kill us, especilly out of confrence. I wouldnt want him to reinger himself and be out for the year.

The DB play has been poor/porous for a couple weeks now. It will become obvious to opposing coaches how to attack the Vikes. While the Ravens continued for 3+ quarters to establish the run LOL, I'm sure Pittsburg and better teams will opt to attack the secondary. Madieu has played ok, Tyrell has struggled and needs to be replaced by Abdullah or Sanford. Johnson's weak arm tackles don't cut it in the NFL and he may want to watch tapes of Winfield (many) on how to hit someone.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws here but, Chilly said he's not ready to rule AW in or out for next Sunday. Maybe I'm reading in between the lines too much but, does that mean a possible trade is in the works? Think about it. To rule AW out already would hamper any leverage the Vikes might have in negotiating a trade. If other teams see us as desperate to make a trade they might try to demand more in return. Is this Chilly doing his best "Secret Squirrel" impression, or will AW be fine and I'm just overplaying my Rube card?

The Ravens were getting their as-ses handed to them in the first half. In the second half, Flacco HAD to throw alot. The REAL difference was a rash of $h!tty blocking.- The one thing some of you that talk about "Big Ben", and what he's going to do to the MN secondary are missing, is that he better be able to out-run Jared Allen, and a few others.- Winfield being out in the second half of the Baltimore game had a little bit to do with The Ravens' "come-back" too. Joe Flacco is showing all of the attributes that made me want The Vikings to draft him awhile back. That kid is a damn good QB....And he hasn't even hit his stride yet.

Interesting to note:

Rothlesberger leads the NFL with 1800+ yards passing, over 300 yds per game average.

Hope Winfield is in there, and even more so, hope the front four can get some serious pressure on the QB Sunday. Possibly the toughest game left on the schedule, would be a HUGE win for the vikes.

Yeah, you tell him what a moron he is, then maybe take a walk back to your remedial English class. If you can't spell, don't point out other peoples errors.

Winfield's absence was part of it. How about them shredding us on the ground (Rice untouched to the end zone. Remember???) and William's wiffing at Rice (what the hell has happened to K. Williams?- No qb pressure, sloppy tackling - bad stuff). No safeties, either - just two bodies wasting space on the field. I agree with those who say sit Winfield against Pitt (sorry, but it's a loss anyway). Sign Chris McCallister, moron Childress - we might just need a little help at corner this season as we work towards a championship don't ya think? That is the goal, bringing Favre in here, isn't it? Or do you see Grif and Paymah as post season caliber corners?

Ha - I like that Green Slime blurb above - actually very funny. But coming from a gaytard Puke fan, the source has to be questioned. Let's see - the Pukers: Karen holds the ball forever, no offensive line (no linemen), no running game, no running back for that matter, old, slowing corners, a confused, messed up defense that only shines against garbage teams. Yeah, you have a LOT to look forward to as this season progresses. Like losses to Dallas, the Ravens (can't wait for that one), Pitt, the 49ers, Bears @ Chi. And, your ugly, fat, dog-faced women peeing in Lambow garbage cans (while you watch in anticipation). Yeah, the future looks bright (wear shades, gaytards) - just kidding, of course - we love you blue collar mill rat imbeciles - come back any time, and make sure you bring your thesauruses (look it up) with you;-)
