At this point in the season and a 2-4 record, who cares?? They should have let Delhomme go long ago, but you give him a big contract extension and raise. Good Job!! reward a non- proformer the American way.

This is why I am now fully a New Orleans and San Diego Fan. Fox and General Manager don't want to win. Thay just want to find new ways to "throw" a game away

Typical, John Fox is afraid to admit when he's wrong and will not make a change. If i was a PSL owner i would be ticked off..

This is a joke. His turnovers have allowed more points than the defense.

This is a sad situation.I might be wrong, but hasn't his turnovers allowed more points than the panthers defense has this year. But at least we can start a new chant at the next game."Go Home Dellhome"

Why would anyone be suprised. They gave him a new contract this summer with 20 mil guranteed
after he threw 5 interceptions in the biggest game of the year last year.
hmmm...lets count... 18 interceptions in the last 7 games ( that count) and a fat paycheck.
I'm definitley in the wrong business.

totally confused

The only way Delhomme is not going to start is if Fox is fired and he should be. The play calling is terrible when you got two of the best running backs in the league and you're letting Delhomme throw interceptions.

Fox announced Wednesday afternoon that Delhomme would start Sunday.

"I think he gives us the best chance to win," Fox said. "Sometimes with the 48-hour rule, you go back and you look. There's no question we've struggled in that area (the passing game). Going through and looking at some of our mishaps, I don't think it's one guy, and I still think he gives us the best chance to win."

We have no one we can go to really - our backups are no better. Fox has failed to find a backup that is a viable understudy for the future. We are tied to Delhomme come what may.

First off, if Fox would coach like he chews gum, he would be a champion. He should be fired at seasons end. Make an offer to Bill Cower and see if he is willing to coach them, after all he does live in Raleigh. Get rid of Delhomme(The int king)and give the backups a try, maybe even draft a qb next year and rebuild. Last but not least trade Peppers. He signed a big contract as well with little to no results. He wanted to leave anyway. He is getting older and as i said before, look to the future and rebuild. This would be a great start! Hey Fox, use some of that gum chewing energy to coach the team instead of murdering your gum, ok Gum Chomper!

You guys make me laugh. It's plain to see you never played football & don't know much about TEAM SPORTS. Delhomme is not the problem, it's the offensive line. They SUCK! Until they fix the prblems there, no Quarterback is going to do anything for Carolina. But even the offensive line can't take all the blame. It is a Team Sport. I have seen several missed routes, dropped balls, and many missed blocks. I have seen special team mishaps, including a kicker who never use to miss, miss twice the other day. Everyone wants to always fire the coach, but it's the players with the Big salaries who need a kick in the butt. Until they play as a TEAM they aren't going to win. Get off Delhomme's back and start blocking better & calling better plays.

delhomme and fox must be fired if we want to win. is as simple as 1 + 1 fired them both we easily make the play offsif not the superbowl, we get a qb that knows that you can only throw a ball to our team thenwe win that simple. delhomme always get a completion but not always to our team. we have the best reciever and pair of running backs in the league no reason we shouldnt win. off subject we also have the best mlb in the league or 2nd best beason and peppers is good but trade him fora 1st round pick so we can get a damn qb and also if you think about it the one person who has really stepped up is jeff king he is becoming really good, i think this year he has more td's then steve smith king is catching everything thrown to him, again fire delhomme and fox and see how many fans return to our stadium, it will be an overflow just because we trashed what was holding us back. and another thing why pass the ball when we can freaking run better than anyone? we could easily score over 30 a game but no, everytime the balls in the air who will catch it is the question. i wish we picked up vick but hey we kept dickhomme, anyway im done talking respond to what yall think of what i said.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Sagittarius

Be careful about what you eat and drink today, my prancing Archer. Your body is in a sensitive state, so be well advised and steer clear of anything that might upset you, or to which you're sometimes allergic. Avoid anyone who's a one-man germ factory, in case a few bugs happen to jump out and over to you. Right now, you could do without it.
