Best draft of any NFC team, best I've ever seen from GM Bruce Allen(Raiders fan here).
Best CB in the draft at 20th overall, many boards had Jackson the RD 2 WR as the best in a thin class at the position, he helped upset Michigan with an amazing long score off a slant play. The Rutgers G comes from a great multiset offense that could see him develop to a starter in coming years.
Dre Moore plugs right into Kiffin's defense at undertackle, and their 6th round pick at LB from Derrick Brooks' Alma Mater is a LB who can play inside or outside, with great speed, supposedly undersized. He could become their next great LB with his speed, Kiffin's system, and Brooks as his mentor.
Josh Johnson deserves special mention in round five, amazing stats and efficiency, more career running TD than he had INT in college. Counting his senior year of HS against his stats for mistakes, he produced more rushing scores in college than he did turnovers in the air from the year before until this draft, less than 20 combined INT in those seasons against 19 rushing TD.
His final year included 43 to 1 scoring to turnover ratios in the air, and he ran for 1,800 combined across his career. He has an All Pro cousin in the league as well in Marshawn Lynch.
Playing a smaller program gave him a lower standing to some, but the kid is first round in terms of his output. Gruden saying otherwise is simply a motivational ploy, he has a lot of people he can meld into his starter for coming years, Garcia can model their development.
Good luck, Bucs.

One more item, your rd 7 player meets what you'd expect of a late round pick, he is a specialist at playing out of the backfield for pass catching, protection, and spread offense plays.

You are less likely to get a starter that late in a draft. Getting someone with special skills to fit more narrow parameters increases the chances he can contribute, he has an offensive whiz of a coach ready to challenge him in filling that role for the team.

Their draft got some great players where they were most available, again, the expectation level should match the level of ability these players have. Production, projected upside, specialists all factor in favor of the 2008 Tampa Bay draft.

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Leo

If you're going to a festive party or gathering today you'll have a great time. It will be good to see some old faces and nice to meet some new ones. Don't be shy about breaking the ice if you spot someone you'd like to know better, as with Mars in your sign dancing with Venus in fiery Sagittarius, bells will ring and fires light up. Get the last of those Christmas cards out of the way now, so they're not on your conscience.
