It's good to hear things like this. I do believe Hester will take a big step this year as the ball will be in spots he can catch it! I was frustrated many times last year as Orten could never hit him in stride. I do wonder how the other receivers looked? I m starting to be a believer this group of receivers will be alright. Normaly I wanted them to get another guy, but I'd rather see the young guys show what they got this year than have a guy like Jones or Burress come in and take away from the team

Pretty sad then that even Kyle Orton was only "adequate" in training camp. Once the pads went on he became "below average."

Go Bears!! Can't wait for the season to start!!!

Again, you must be on the Bear's payroll. No kidding, they are deep at LB and TE, which was a waste of money in the off season. They need WRs.
Oh yeah, and the bottom line on the defense is that the scheme, the cover 2 too damn late, sucks no matter who is in it. |

1 The only bottom line is that you are out of your mind. |

1 I say give the youngsters a chance at WR. Buh Bye Rashied(hands of stone)Davis We don't need any "re-thread/hooligans/dist ractions" at WR. this season. |

Yes, it is only practice. And, to be perfectly honest, this sounds awfully similar to what the media was saying last year during training camp. We all know how that turned out. But, the flip-side to that coin is that no matter what the Bears do this season, it would be very hard to imagine that the offense won't benefit greatly with Cutler taking the snaps. Anyway... Who is this Rogers guy you're talking about? |

1 A few things for you.... 1) you rip on Jay by saying he should be called "Julie"? BURN!! Oh MAN! I cannot believe where you come UP with this! 2) Yes it IS just OTA's. So everyone keep their panties on. 3) Jay will make the ENTIRE TEAM better. By keeping the offense on the field longer by prolonging drives, the defense gets more time to rest. Meaning they shouldn't be as S$&%%Y as they were in the 4th quarter as they were last year. 4) Will the WRs be better? Who knows? But the responsibility should squarely be on their shoulders now. No more excuses. The ball will be where it needs to be...they have to catch it. 5) Defenses will have to respect the pass now meaning no more 8 man fronts for Forte. His numbers in theory should improve. 6) Everyone who keeps shouting the Bears have done nothing to improve their O-Line have not seriously paid attention to their ofseason AQ's. Frank O can play T or G. Pace gives them options at either T (tho he wants to play LT). And if Williams is healthy he'll challenge for a starting spot on either side. Essentially # new OLmen. While I dont believe any 1 element is a cure or any one player is a savior, I have many reasons on to be excited. GO BEARS!! |

yeah may be the same talk as last year but this year we have a quarterback doing something that the quarterback wasn't doing last year and that was hitting Hester in stride and a step or two in front. I'm sure that these throws are for a little better distance thrown then last years quarterback candidates.
Going into camp this season without the usual quarterback question is going to help out immensely this year. I know it difficult for a lot of Bears fans to be optimistic but this is the first time we go into a season with a "franchise quarterback" |

I say u hit it on the head! now theres a guy throwing the ball and putting it in someones hands in stride, the Bears don't need WR's with what we got now will or should be fine! The Defense will be Monsters again and show the NFL there back to rare form! GO BEARS |

"Anyway... Who is this Rogers guy you're talking about?"
Yea, I wonder that myself... |

There's talk after B. Marshall's contract expires with the Broncos that he's heading to Chicago. I hope he squares away his problem as a woman beater. Don't need that character issue.

Are the Bears WR's going to be better than last year? Um Duh! Hester for one is going to have a breakout season if only for the fact that at a minimum he will catch five bombs and that would add 200-250 yards and 5 TD's right there.
A revamped oline and a QB that can hit the deep ball will do wonders for Forte. Only an Imbecile wouldn't expect the offense to be vastly improved. |
