what a shame for benson and the bears. The season doesn't look to be as successful as last year but it was a chance for Benson to continue to accel at the nfl level. Hopefully he can get back soon.

Might be 'a shame' for Benson, but definitely the Bears.

I gotta say, Benson was having a decent game until the injury. Plus, he played very well last week, but they didn't give him enough carries! It would be nice to see what he could do with consistent carries over multiple games before the team writes him off completely.

I got this from Trib's RosenBlog. It is the best reason yet to fire Turner: "No, wait. The Bears unveiled their own brand of trickery in the third quarter of a tie game: They had the slow-footed, turnover-prone Grossman run a quarterback draw on third-and-7 from the Denver 11, and you betcha, Grossman fumbled and Denver recovered. For those of you keeping score at home, that's one draw for Grossman and no passes thrown to Hester to that point."

If Turner called that draw that is reason enough to fire him. Rex running gives us the best chance to score??? What a horrible, horrible call. Get Rid O' Ron!

Well, I guess we'll get to see if burning a third round pick on Garret Wolfe was worth it. Benson was having a good game and it's a shame about the injury. AP played pretty well and I hope he can string together a couple of strong games as Benson will be likely out for the rest of the season.

Reporters kill me the moron who wrote this article is praising Peterson for how well he did. He averaged 2.5 yards per carry. I would much rather have what Benson was doing compared to what Adrian was doing. He would have never got that touchdown if the whole offensive line didnt push him across it. Reporters dont have a clue, they just seem to want to be the players best friend instead of actually reporting. I can not stand to watch the interviews when they are laughing at something extremely stupid that the star player says that only they seem to fine as funny. Get a clue guy.

Benson is a Bust. That being said Peterson is not a staring RB. He does add a new dimension to the Bears. Catching and blocking ability.
Ced can't run, block, catch. A Bust even behind the Bears terrible Line. Ben$on will be a backup RB at best on any NFL team.
Did you guys see him get hit by the phantom hand in the first Quarter?
