Memo to Cardinals fans:
You want to love this guy b/c he shows flashes of brilliance, but see 2007 & 2008 Buckeye Replays. Consistency is an issue. He can't handle 100% of the load.

Nothing that many haven't predicted. If he was getting hurt a lot in college football, he isn't going to last long in the pros, especially at such a punishing position.

It's too bad he never reached his potential at OSU. To think what he could have accomplished without being hurt half the time. He's a good, hard working kid but he'll never make it in the pros. Well, there's more to life than football anyway.

Same old story. It's a shame because he could be even better than what we have seen. No one will ever see his full potential because he will spend half of the time sitting on the sideline injured.

How can Beanie be so injury prone? He has the durability of a girl. With his size and strength? Hope he is not another Ki-Jana Carter who was a first round pick, got injured early and never played much in the NFL.(from Westerville/Penn State for those too young to remember)

I'm sorry to hear that Chris Wells is hurt - I hope that it's not to serious, and wish him the best of luck.

Gee there's a surprise, Wells is hurt below the knees. Did the Cardinals think that his habitual ankle/feet problems were just going to magically disapear? Tressel was correct in encouraging Wells to go to the NFL. Bad attitude and injury proned.

Sad to hear. Hope he got a lot of "guaranteed" money on that contract.

He`ll be back.

I don't think anyone is suggesting Beanie isn't talented. Beanie is injury prone from the waist down and that's never good for an NFL back. They have a pretty short life-span to begin with.

Personally I think Beanie is one the best backs (potentially) to ever carry a ball for the Buckeyes. He has the talent to be on a par with Jim Brown. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll ever see that potential reached.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
