Dolphins cut guard Drew Mormino, last year 's sixth round pick

At one point this offseason Drew Mormino was considered a potential starter on the offensive line, but on Friday the Dolphins released last year's sixth round draft pick after he failed a physical.

Surpised, initially at this cut. However, if Mormino could not pass a physical after this much time it seems this was coming.

For all intents and purposes, Drew Mormino, was a rookie and not much further along in his development than the HEALTHY rookies Thomas and Murphy.

parcells doesn't want to see any of the pass regimes players perform at all.because it could show they had potiental to become a force for our team.he gonna get rid of everyone so he can take all the credit.

wanting to keep your own guys, but we have let go some guys that had potential, why not put him on the pup list, i could name tons of guys that went to other teams and contributed well. Sometimes i think parcells is willing to cut off his nose to spite his face. There is no guarantee these rookie lineman are going to do squat.

Didn't the Jets win just 4 games and 2 were against a very bad Dolphins team? So why am I surprised that a Jets fan is on here everyday talking crap? I'd understand it if they were atleast a playoff team last year.
