Slowly we are losing America, Land of Freedom. Now bashed for his Freedom of Choice by his so-called FANS that dropped him. Favre just wants to play football and thats his choice, right??? He is an American Citizen. My opinion, GB is practicing Communism at best, with your continued hatred. Sure, we Vikes fans have a reason to be upset, but in the end, we just cannot replay that down!!!! He worked hard and took some hard hits. With Favre playing injured in the Super Bowl, we would look real good having made it again only to lose again. Last thing the Vikes needed is an injured QB in the SB. He kept us in the game. There is definitely some unfinished work out there...So, why dwell on the negative, I hope he returns for another attempt. Rodgers, who is an absolutely excellent QB, should feel betrayed that his GB fans are still tore up and whinning over losing Favre. Thats what it amounts to...I can't believe Tarks comment in Philly, like he can talk...we were behind him 100% and what was the result...get real Tark, open mouth insert foot.

Tarkenton the has been wrote: Tarkenton, no body cares what you think!! keep your opinion to yourself. Five fumbles doesn't help the team much either. Brett should have never been in that position. Your jealous of his career and you know it. Shut your trap so we can see Favre back in purple next year!! If queen fans were smart, they would cut their losses concerning Favre! It took Packer fans 5 years to learn that! queen fans have the oppertunity to do it in 1 year. The only thing favre cares about is brett. Not the team, not the fans. Just Brett. Queen fans cant take a hint. They will have to learn to on their own. Cant wait for that.

Tarkenton is so insecure with his place in Vikings history that he feels he has to attack Farve. Tarkenton did not mention that without Farve, the Vikings likely would not have been in the NFC Championship game, or did he?

For the ex favre fan... I find it funny that you jokers up in GB are not putting Rogers thru the ringer for coughing up the rock on that last play of the Arizona game, that ended your playoff drive as well, just as painful as a pick, and that was only his first playoff game, let's wait and see how you turn on him down the road too.

Are you serious, definitely not in my vocab, and hopefully I speak for alot of Vikes fans that have hung in there over the years. We can still hope and SUPPORT our team, even with GB's King...our QB!!!! They still haven't quit hurting over Favre's departure.

Please stop embarrassing yourself, seriously, you know nothing about this game or what it takes to be a elite athlete at any level, go back to whatever it is you do. Favre just took this team to within inches of our first super bowl in about three decades, you are a complete moron.

Honestly, I think ol Fran is afraid of what the Vikes will do what he never did, win the big one. Ragging on Favre is his first year with the team? Yes, the loss was tough and Favre didn't make a great throw but let's go back to our expectations when Favre joined the team...the Vikings exceeded and are on the brink of a Super Bowl. Favre can still play and this was just his first year with us. Fran, I'm sorry but you choked year after year and I think it'll pain you to see the Vikes go and win the Super Bowl, something you couldn't do. And you are a hypocrite. Ragging on Favre at the begining of the season, then retracting some statements when we won the division and giving Favre praise, and now blasting him. What a joke.

I am sick of tarkenton hes jelaous of brett and hes is in love with peyton.. He said he doesnt make his team mates better.. look at Rice.. Look at shanicoe they had career years. look at the quotes from the players on how much they have learned and how he was in the locker room he was positive and helped out the younger guys. PErcy wouldnt have had the year he did with jackson at quarter back. with out favre we wouldnt have been in this game thats how he plays the game and always has i have lost so much respect for tarkenton i could care less what comes out of his mouth you could tell in his quotes how he said you cant compare todays from back then but yet hes tryin to throw in there he played with a torn acl he got his he he he hypocritical if you ask me. Why does he need to come out and talk about favre and say hes theartical look in the mirror. cheer for the vikings bc thats the team you love.

The Vikings have always sucked, will continue to suck, and suck at all times before or since this broadcast. I, for one, am sick and tired of being told that the Vikings do not suck, because all indicators indicate severe suking by the Vikings. The Vikings do suck the high hard one, and they suck every minute of every day. The smack down of suck in Minnesota is amazing to watch the suck. All present and former Vikings suck in all ways of suck.

Again, what is it you are not getting, sorry for calling you a moron maybe I should have said your comment was moronic as is this one. You know how hard it is to be an elite QB in the toughest league on the planet? Most players that have played in this league never even sniffed a SB.

Francis speaks truth. Brett is about Brett. His streak. His grit. His youthful exuberance. His ability to play with pain. Favre's reputation is built solely on personal characteristics, not the success of his teams. You Viking fans seem to think that Brett and interceptions are somehow strangers. We know better. We saw for years in Green Bay that Brett could not bring himself to pull the ball down, especially in critical situations. He has always felt a need to thread the needle or throw it up for grabs, 317 times with disasterous consequences. His interception Sunday against the Saints, his interception against the Giants and the pop up he threw at Philly were not the stuff of a guy trying to help his team at the most important point of the season. He has this crazy need to attempt the impossible in hopes that a miracle will prevail to expand his legend. Fran is also right about Favre's place on the greatest quarterback's list. Great quarterbacks win championships, and there are eighteen QBs who have won more than Brett's one (Starr 5, Montana 4, Luckman 4, Bradshaw 4). Brett is no doubt the NFL's iron man for consecutive starts, but he doesn't enter the discussion of top ten quarterbacks. Please, Fran, keep up the commentary. You are dead on the money.

Favre left GB with a "Favre trained" group of receivers. Favre left the Jets with a "Favre trained" group of receivers (Keller, the rookie, still to this day credits what he learned from Favre for his success) and will be leaving the Vikes with the same thing. Favre spreads the ball around...many Vikings/Packers/Jets players get more touches in one season with him than many see in years. Packers, Jets (a 4-12 team pre-Favre)...look at their rookie QB numbers. Look at where those rookies have taken their teams...Coincidence? Please. Whoever steps in @ QB is going in throwing to guys who have learned to stay open and catch the damn ball. Now if only the Vikes could hold onto it.

But it didnt hurt us near as bad as it will hurt him! TT gave him every oppertunity to retire as a God in the state of Wi. He threw it away. Then the pack threw him away. He has nobody to blame otherthan himself! You wish you had a QB like A-Rod you just wont admit it! Its called a future!

I rooted for the VIKES when Fran was here and I really do not know if he was a TEAM guy that he remembers or not. I do think that everytime he makes a critical comment about the VIKES (especially after being AWOL for so long) that he fumbles away a lot of respect people had for him. Fran, be a positive fan or go away where you were before. Talking about someone seeking the spotlight, it is often true what we do not like in others we see in ourselves. Fran is all this talk because YOU want to help the TEAM now or is it just about you. Chill Fran. Relax. Enjoy life and the good things God gave you. Admit it Fran you and Brett are alot alike. You BOTH like the spotlight.
