Consistently bad Browns are frustrated

Full story: Columbus Dispatch

So bad for so long, the Cleveland Browns are awful -- still. They dropped to 0-2 Sunday with a 27-6 loss to the Denver Broncos, a week after the Minnesota Vikings beat them in the season opener.

The Browns organization is enamored with Bill Belichick. They seem to look at the success he's had at New England and think that they missed the boat on the guy. What they forget is that the team that fired Belichick is now in Baltimore and has a Super Bowl win to its name. They also seem to forget the Belichick actually did stink as the Browns' coach and deserved to be canned. He then spent a few years with his mentor before getting a second crack at being the top guy at New England.

Romeo Crennel was a bust. He was a good assistant coach under Belichick but because the Browns didn't have the same ownership and front office that New England has, his skills didn't translate in Cleveland. Now the Browns have gone back to the Belichick well opting to hire a guy who emulates all of the things that made Belichick a failure in Cleveland back in the early 90s.

Mangini is a troll. He doesn't have any idea how to coach a winning team so he fakes it with arrogance and childish games. The Browns made a huge mistake when they hired him and will likely pay for that mistake for the better part of a decade.

I dont think it's the ex-patriots assistant coach conspiracy you are crying about. After all, the Browns just got beat by one in Denver.

Face the facts, Browns just suck period.

It looks like the Browns also have a thing for overweight coachs.

the browns are playing the ravens. last game in baltimore, with the game over if the browns kicked a field goal, they went for a 4th down td on one of the last plays of the game. this is the team the browns are going to beat this week.(yeah, right)

putting a tiny bit of 60 Minutes politics into the mix of the baltimore game, too
