Promote somebody to their level of incompetence.
I thought this went bye-bye in the 80's?

We need a GM, no brainer.

Is Spielman capable? That's the real question and we'll likely have to wait several seasons to find out.

No kidding aside. You guys don't know how much I feel for you guys. The Saints went thru how many bad coaches? Bad GMs? Bad front office? From the outside looking in I see you guys 3 to 5 years of rebuilding, IF everything goes right!
Why do I give that time-line? Well look when Sean Payton came to the Saints. 4 out 6 years in the playoffs. Not counting this year, 2 trips to the NFCC Game 1 Superbowl ring, Yeah it takes time, but look at the Saints now. Who wants to play them in the playoffs?

We have to start somewhere, and GM IS the start.
You don't find much love for Rick S. though, seems like a hasty, ill thought out cop out.

I understand. When the Saints first started to climb out of the abyss, they hired Jim Finks as GM. Unfortunately his untimely passing was another set back.
So as I stated earlier, I understand where you guys are at and what journey is ahead. I wish you guys the best and hope the Vikings return to former GLORY!. HEHEHEH We have unfinished business and I want the Vikes to be on top when we collect.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
