The Giants were alway going to win the Division because no other team is any good.
The Eagles have that evil guy Vick as QB and thus will never go anywhere as long as they have his evil scent in the clubhouse.
Watch and see how they fail again next year due to "bad luck" or some other excuse.
Get rid of Vick and you have a chance.
The Cowboys also will never win becaue of the QB. Romo is a journeyman QB and they shud get rid of him if tey wnat to win. It is not evil he carries but incompetence.
Perhaps 2012-13 will see the Redskins move up. They WILL get an new QB and he might show something.
Otherwise it is the Giants agaion next year even with Coughlin as coach

Immediately after the game, Jerry Jones stormed off, had his limousine driver take him to the airport to his waiting private jet and flew to Dallas to begin work in the draft war room to make his choices for filling holes in next year's Cowboy team.
When last seen, he was slumped over a desk with 2 empty, very expensive 40 year old bottles of scotch.

I often question Romo myself; however, he has the third best stats of any qb in the NFL. The problem lies with the owner not willing to hire a general manager, the defensive coordinator, who is not a winner, and a lack of drafting on the defensive side. The offensive side seems to be ok. I would not cry if they got rid of Felix Jones though.

The team has plenty of holes. There are at least four games and more than likely five games that Dallas should have won this season where they either had a convincing lead and lost it or made stupid mistakes that cost them the games. It's this kind of lackluster attention to detail that has Dallas as an 8-8 team versus a 12-4 and well-seeded playoff team.

Romo's stats have him as 4th overall but this is misleading as we know how mistake-probe Romo is, especially in the games they should have won.

Garrett might be a home favorite but he's too passive for a team that is deperately seeking a return to stardom. Leadership starts at the top and this is where we will find the core of failures.

Nary a day passes where Jones doesn't regret parting ways with Jimmy Johnson. It's a shame that an utter control freak has control of one of the best franchises in football.

It's as if Jones has the team on ECONO-cruise while the focus is seemingly on the new stadium.

This is the best commentary I have seen on a forum. You are right on the mark. Garrett is not the answer, Ryan is not the answer, a GM is needed, but today on ESPN, JJ said no way, he is in charge. Defensive players need to be drafted first, then in later rounds, protection for Romo. Romo is no Staubach or Aikman, but the 4th best qb in the NFC. Also, every team needs a quality back-up qb and McGee is not the answer. Dallas, draft defense, offense line, and backup qb. Also, out of their last 32 draft picks according to ESPN, only 11 are still starting. Poor drafting over many years by JJ!
