Even A. Rodgers would be a bust with this sorry bunch of O/L and WRs. See what happened when GB lost a couple of O/L and WRs. KC beat 'em. Ponder is pressing, yes..but he would like to count to 2 before he gets clobbered. Get Ponder some help before you judge him.

The great Aaron Rodgers is accurate, doesn't run first and has the respect of his teammates so NEVER put Rodgers and Ponder in the same sentence again.

Unless Ponder crashes and burns the last two game the chances we draft another QB is minimal. So this is what I'm going to do. If Ponder plays great I will support him but if he plays like a bust I will tell it like it is through-out the off season.

I wish you would tell the truth about the QB position sometime.

The difference between Kanfans post and yours is that he seems to know all the tangibles involved in the game of football and you dont. Your "grades" and so-called analysis of football players means nothing here, you lost all credibility a long time ago, you just wont admit it and keep making a foolish a$$ of yourself. But keep going, if anything, you are good for a laugh now and then.

NEVER tell me what to do. QB Rodgers got 3 years of learning time, sitting on Farve's lap, where-as Ponder didn't even have a training camp. And if you can not see what just happened to your GREAT QB when his O/L got hurt, how he became mortal, and relate that to what's happened to Ponder....well, there's no hope for you. And that's the truth.
Tarkenton said Ponder will be a good QB....so who do I listen to, who knows more about QBing, you or Tarkenton? Dumb question. I don't need a dumb answer.

Blaine Gabbert does not have any WRs either look how well he ISN'T doing! Ponder will be fine if they just give him some time to develope and someone to throw the damn ball to.

Cam Newton is the best rookie QB of all time he had no training camp. Dalton is doing good things. Both are accurate and competent. That is all I want from Ponder. You should want the same.

Tarkenton said Ponder will be a good QB, but ALL the experts on TV are speculating if the vikings will draft another first round QB.

Is your TopiX Minnesota Vikings analysis ego so huge you can't back down from a QB that looks in over his head with two games left?

GBPmies, Gabbert stinks and I was wrong about him.

Kanfan, this is how to be humble.

I think the Vikings Could end up with the Frist pick if the Colts win out & if this happens Having Ponder Now Others teams may want to trade with the Vikes & going offers for a frist round draft pick is 3 frist rounds picks & 2 seconds IF the do win out & still want Luck this could turn out to be the Best thing to happen for the Vikings & would get them back on top the fastest. What do you think?

Ponder needs an O/L before anyone judges him. Newton is a good QB yet a Ponder-lead team defeated him...in Carolina. Judge Newton on that basis and you'd be making a mistake.
So, exactly what do you think will create a better Vikings team next year....keeping the present O/L and drafting another 1st rd QB OR taking a chance on Ponder and drafting Kalil? Remember, you have NO chance at Luck.
You are Spielman, now is your chance to shine.

lol With this Front line I would say Luck would look a lot like Ponder is looking now I think Tom Brady wouldnt look much better with this front line However I do think this front line needs more then Kalil's help I would Pick Kalil add a WR in free agenty DeSean Jackson Ted Ginn Braylon Edwards & Reggie Wayne there will also be a few good CBs So the Vikes can concentrate on suring up there front line. A LB is still needed also

Tarkington never won the one game we want! Plus he didn't play in an era that is all about the passing game. Ponder maybe smart but he has a weak arm and his accuracy is waning.

Well, the way things are playing out, it will be interesting. As far as LB, Griffen said he would do that if asked. I'd like to see Larry Dean play safety, just to see what he's got. He's pretty fast. Granted, Kalil isn't the complete answer to our O/L, but you gotta start somewhere.
