Grading the Dolphins - Week 2

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Quarterback Trent Green had his one golden moment with a perfectly thrown 18-yard TD to Marty Booker, and he did throw a second and very fortunate TD to Derek Hagan that made no impact on the result.

C'mon, there is NO talent on this team. Who looks promising? What young player or rookie looks like a playmaker for us? Not one friggin playmaker on this team, on either side of the ball. Jason Taylor is invisible, looks shot to me...Romo made him look like a ballerina. Our DB's need to remember that the guys with the other colored jerseys are the bad guys.
The trainers should be hanging IV bags of Geritol for this D.

Trent Green makes my nipples soft but I want to have his child to see if it will turn out better than his father.

Teddy Gimp needs to get out there now. Forget about the maturing process and the bringing him slow. They have nobody. The receivers are slower than ,... you know, that thing... that is slow... whatever you call it.

I saw Devon Hester running today with a punt back and Teddy Gimp is no Devon Hester. Bring those soldiers home form Iraq, put Trent Green on a train back to The West Coast Offense town of his choice. Tell Teddy Gimp to get it going now and play him as a receiver because Wes Welker is kicking and ticking like a possessed Belichick spy and that's the plan.

Get the Lemon man or the Mormon kid out there to QB and let us have a good time with them. That old tired arm we saw today looked like the Malaki government in Iraq. Just going through the motions and faking that it is alive and kicking.

Somewhere in Alabama, this guy, Nick Saban is staring at the ceiling and saying.

God, I believe in you really, remember me when I die I want to go to heaven even though I really screwed Wayne Huizenga up for good. What a mess I left there! But I am so freaking rich and they love me here in the Guber Eden of Tuscaloosa. Let me pause while I pick my nose. Sorry Wayne... did not mean to but I am just an evil person sometimes and it just comes out.

It's like I said. The O-line Sucks and needs to get their $#it together, Trent Green is too old, and they'll lose 6 or 8 and then should throw Beck in to learn trial by fire. Patrick Cobbs should CLEARLY be the main running back and the defense gives up too many points when they will do the most damage.
Oh yah, T.O. is the BIGGEST PIECE OF TRASH and I was proud to see some of the FINZ stand his A$$ up and bust him in the mouth!

Let me also add that I have been a Finz fan since I was 8. I am now 36. I feel for you guys, I really do. Zack and JT will be the Dan Marino's of defense - great players that never got enough help to win a Super Bowl and it's a shame.
Put in Beck, start Cobbs at half back, keep Chambers - he is awesome - and let the chips fall where they may. Good luck guys - I'll still be rooting for you all season.

With no offense you can bet the Defense will be tottally run down early in the season .. And the defense is the only thing keeping the Fin's from total blow outs

This was pathetic. At least we are good at failing forward. What a joke for a team. This franchise is light years from respectablity. At least we have a owner who knows how to tear teams apart. Again, this team is the trash of the NFL. Thanks Wayne.

We need to suit up Ted Ginn jr's mom an dad, Nice pick so far coach. If Trent Green continues to lead the O we might just be the first 0-16 team in the NFL. Put the kid in and let it ride we could just as easily be 2-0 with Beck. How in the h*** do you fumble on the spike play.

New Headcoach and QB but the same old results. The Dolphins have shown little in the way of improvement. Look for them to fall to 0-3 this week against the Jets. When will Beck start? My prediction is Week 10 once the Dolphins are 1-7 with almost no hopes of a playoff birth. They need to give Beck, Ginn and Booker plenty of opportunities to gain experience the second half of the season as the Dolphins will add rookies on the OL and Defense in 2008. PLAYOFFS?!?!? PLAYOFF?!?!?!? Looks like 2010 or Later Phans...

Ted Ginn, Jr - Worst Pick Ever! Taking a flyer on a DB like Allen was genius compared to this loser. Tentative and scared are not the traits you want for a WR/PR. This was the knock in college and it won't change. Can this franchise stop drafting friends of the family!?! Can't wait to see how many lower draft picks end up as HOF prospects.

Yesterday it looked like the horses were saddled up.Our defense was sucking wind in the first half. JT had to sit the bench to recupe and the rest of the D had there helmets off in the first half. There old and out of shape. Shame on the Cam and his staff for letting that happen.

It amazes me how Wes Welker
looks crappy on this team, but great with the New England Patriots.
He burned San Diego...time and time again...
I remember when Don Shula was coach and every year we talk about what we were going to do once we reached the playoff's. In his final year we went 9-7 and made the playoff's. But none of that was good enough for the south florida fans...Remember we wanted Jimbo Johnson...You all deserve what you get...High prices on homes, zero lot lines, high insurance cost, and Hurricanes..Boo
Boo on you South Florida...

Why don't we use cooling techniques on the side lines like the other teams? Just because we live in the heat, doesn't mean it doesn't effect are preformance.

Scrap the season. Play for #1 draft pick. Trade for draft picks.

Start next year with a YOUNG and HUNGRY team. Even if they don't win squat at least we will we be GENUINELY rebuilding for better things to come!

Time to play all the rookies - not least of which John Beck (a pick I agreed with).

Ted Ginn - WOW is that a selection to remember. We could/should have had Patrick Willis...who would have agrued with that then or now?

Some one PLEASE get a clue.

grade the dolphins.hmmmmmm.....seems the defense has decided it too should no longer be good. I'm thinking this team could lose to detroit and oakland. I do however have to give these players credit. They are getting paid tons of money.......win or lose.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Capricorn

Self deception will be the main issue today. You may be judging your situation wrongly: don't hold back, say what you think diplomatically and without being hurtful. This should result in a positive mental outlook for you. Competitive sports activity will ease any stress or tension.
