Nnamdi Asomugha definatly belongs in the Pro Bowl. How can a corner that is only thrown at once a game on an average basis be left out of it? What other corner is thrown at that rarely??

I just hope his lack of plays(because they don't throw his way often) doesn't make voters forget they they are avoiding him because of his ability.

That's the biggest problem; noboby throws his way often because he is the ideal shut down corner that every team dreams of having...One that is so good that he's rarely thrown at and has a hard time making a name for himself.

Johnson has really been playing a lot better than I thought he would. I really think he was a major upgrade from Deangelo Hall. I never questioned the signing of Hall, but I was dissappointed that he didn't work out as well as I thought he would, but I'm glad to see that letting him go has helped our team. Plus benching Michael Huff has been a plus for our secondary too.

I'm also seeing a big improvement in the passing game with Javon Walker out...That was the main signing that I questioned all offseason.

Nnamdi Asomugha is the best corner back in the NFL hands down. Besides former Raider Charles Woodsen, Asomugha is the best cover corner in the NFL. With the release of DeAngelo Hall was a very good move on the Raiders part. If Chris Johnson continues to stick his receiver like he did against the Broncos they could have one of the best passing defense in the NFL. Although, Michael Huff needs massive improvements to keep up with the Raider high powered defense, he can make the difference. This remains to be seen in the next following games. If the Raiders can pull it off every Black Sunday, they will be the team to watch in 2009.

I really hated to see Charles Woodson go, but I'm glad to see that he's revamped his career in Green Bay. He was pretty good and rarely thrown at his first 3 years, but his injury in 2002 really slowed him down for a few years and it just looked like he couldn't play anymore, but he proved everybody wrong in Green Bay. I think he's a lot happier in Green Bay too...I remember him not getting along with the Raider coaching staff.

Michael Huff was benched in favor or Hiram Eugene and Rashad Baker, so I think he'll be gone next year. I never liked him...even in college I thought he was over rated.

Huff probably got a wake up call and is trying to impress other teams. I really don't think he'll be back next year. That was a big problem before Cable took over was that a lot of players were too comfortable in their positions and didn't think that they would lose their starting spots but Cable started treating them like football players and the Raiders like a football team. Now the players know that if they want to play, then they need to perform well or else they might be on the bench. That was a fear that neither Callahan, Turner, and even Kiffin didn't put in them. Kiffin talked it but rarely did I ever see him actually carry it out...The only time I remember him doing that was with Stuart Schweigert. He sort of did it with the running backs but injuries also played a major part in that.

Well, I for one was impressed with the passing game today vs the lowly Chiefs. You are a moron.
