Looks like the Bucs of the 1980's are back. Cut salaries, play cheap, make money on revenue sharing, winning is secondary. Did Hugh Culverhouse's ghost possess the Glazers?

How in the world are they going to fill all of those spots? Even with all that money for free agents.

No one should really be surprised. We're going into rebuilding. A very long, painful rebuilding.

On second thought. Joey, Ike and Cato are C grade players. We aren't losing much there.

Absolutely amazing....the franchise players are gone, the super bowl coach is gone and the Glazers think that they are going to be competitive? You guys are morons, you don't gut the entire team of veterans and expect to win football games. WOW, I am waiting anxiously for the start of next season. Even if you have a fantastic draft, you can't hoope to compete without the heart and soul of your team.

WOW!

I see the other ones, but Derrick Brooks is real shocker. He provides so much leadership on that defense. Would have seen him as a great mentor in rebuilding.

Some 4-3 team is really going to after that guy. Maybe Saints who looking to help their defense to next level.

How could they let Derrick Brooks go. He has meant everything to the FRANCHISE and has been the model NFL player that they aspire to be. A sad day for my bucs.

Well, lower bowl seats should go back to $25 soon.

Too bad we can't take these released players from the Bucs and the Jags (Fred Taylor) and create another Florida team that would actually win some games!

It sometimes doesn't make sense to me when teams will scrap everything and go into rebuild mode. The Bucs, were a decent team the past few years, they just missed the playoffs last year. I think the Arizona Cardinals proved that you can win with an older quaterback and some older players. I think rebuilding is not always the best thing to do, this could be a very long season for the Bucs.

The Glaziers are not one bit interested in being competitive on the field. They think they're saving money, but they'll lose in the long run when season ticket sales fall 50%

Well, I'm going to wait and see what they do before rushing to judgement here!

I'm surprised about Brooks...we should've kept him a Buc for life, but Rudd's doing a decent job taking over from Brooks. Also surprised about Dunn...The team needs SOME veteran leadership! One extreme with Gruden and his old squad to another!

Oh well, I guess this is when the bandwagon gets pretty light! Let's just wait and see what happens!

Just in time for the Creamsicles to be brought back! I really was looking forward to seeing Brooks in them again too.
