Why is it the Ravens rarely bring their A game into Cincinnati? Chad Johnson and Housh can kill us when Palmer is in there, so let's hope its a different story with Fitzpatrick manning the offense

As I was watching last weeks game with my wife, I commented in the first half how well our secondary was playing. They continued to play great the whole game. What a huge improvement in that area. I am so proud of the Ravens. It's a pleasure to root for them. They have made so many inprovements in just 1/2 a season. Very impressive. GO RAVENS.

Yeah, how well our secondary has played this year has been really surprising!! Going into the season I thought every game would wind up being like the Colts game. What has been really surprising is how well the "backups" are playing (Walker/Washington). The secondary coach is doing a great job!

I will definitely agree in the solid play of our secondary. Every week we anticipate someone exploiting it (Houston, Philly, etc.), but they have shown up every week. I have no doubt they'll play well against Cincy.

And Fitzpatrick doesn't scare me like Palmer.

This should be an easy win, but it is a classic trap game. The Ravens must make sure they don't get caught looking ahead to the Washington and Pittsburgh games.

From a playoff standpoint, this game is huge. If the Ravens win, they will gain a game on Pittsburgh (8-3) or New England (7-4), who play each other on Sunday.

I hate to say it, but a Steeler win may help the Ravens' playoff chances the most. If the Ravens win, they would go to 8-4. If the Patriots lose, they would be 7-5, which would put the Ravens in the final wildcard spot without the need of tiebreakers. Of course, if the Pats and Ravens both win, it sets up a battle for first place in the North in Baltimore 2 weeks from now.

Who would have thought we'd even be thinking about this stuff when the season started? Go Ravens!

I'm pretty sure they won't overlook the bungles because 1. Billick doesn't coach this team anymore and 2. Harbaugh seems to know how to prepare his team for games against not-so-good teams, so how exactly can the bungles win, maybe bad officating? Thats the only solution I could think of haha.

In the Sun's poll Why do 85% of the votes saying that the Ravens will not beat the Bengals? Am I missing something or do Ravens fans really feel that way, or is that a mistake and should read 85% think we will beat them.

In the past, the Ravens have not matched up particularly well against the Bengals 3-headed WR corps. Hopefully, we will do a better job on Sunday. This is a game we need to win -- and should win -- to remain solidly positioned for the shot at post season play. It seems to me as if Samari Rolle is finally getting his game legs under him. And I've been satisfied so far with how Fabian Washington has performed. And when playing as a nickel back, Cory Ivy has done better than when playing as a primary CB. And as Josh pointed out, I feel the Ravens will be better prepared since Billick is no longer the head coach. That, and the fact that Fitzpatrick is no Carson Palmer.

Do we want PITTSBURGH to win as the PATS are our rivals in the wildcard race? Or is a N E victory to our advantage as we are going for the division crown?

The AFC North will come down to the Pittsburgh game. Whoever wins that game will win the division. The loser will probably get the wildcard.

You read right. Unlike other newspapers that only allow one vote the Sun lets you vote as many times as you like. This is when the real idiots come out. There are a few dummies out there that can't stand the success of the Ravens and this is how they vent. Very, very juvenile.

I think the best opportunity the Ravens have to get into the playoffs is by winning the division. The wildcard is too "iffy" with the Colts and Pats having a much easier schedule than us.(especially the Colts. The Pats have two tough games at the end i.e. Cards and Bills, but Arizona has been playing awful lately and The Bills are inconsistent)
The Steelers have tough games going into the end of the season much like us. If we can win 2 out of four through the stretch including Pittsburg then I think we have a better shot at the division. Plus a home game as the no.3 seeds will give us our best chances to advance further into January

That and possibly a first round bye! Don't forget about that. Winning the division is what we want, but the wildcard will be some insurance, if we come up short in the division.

Maybe its because we're 14-11 lifetime against the Bengals, and we've already beaten them once this year?

Maybe its because they took the Giants and Eagles into OT?

Maybe because they are a division rival, and in the AFCN sometimes, thats how it goes?

65% thought we would beat the Giants and 84% think we'll lose to Ciny after bearting Philly!!! You can't possibly believe what you wrote!
