Instead of showing concern, the story should be his foul languaged filled tirade while the trainers were tending to him. The network airing the game failed to censor him stating "You have to be f'ing kidding me!", or "S#!t!". I was given some confusing looks by my daughter, who is a big Tampa, and Cadillac fan. While being injured is a terrible thing to happen so soon after his recovery, he and the network, should be held accountable for his vulgar mouth.

Are you joking? You're going to hold HIM accountable? While your concern for your daughter is understandable, holding someone accountable who is in immeasurable pain and may have just lost his career in an instant, your comments are borderline insane. Should the network have censored it? Perhaps. But to hold Cadillac Anderson responsible under those circumstances is incomprehensible. I'm sure in an extreme moment such as that you'd be cool, calm, and collected. Perhaps instead of throwing blame all over the place you could try explaining to your daughter the extremity and severity of the situation, particularly given the fact he had just come back from a 13 month rehabilitation on the other knee. Shame on the network, maybe. But for Cadillac, hope and prayers that it's not as serious as it appeared (both from his expressions or words). |

While I can understand your concern for your youngster, seems to me that she must be a real fan to have heard then comprehended William's unedited sideline comments. Do you think that she'll be better, or worse off going forward? |

It's common knowledge that networks air live programming on a delay, and for that to get by was unacceptable. While I will conceed that because he was in severe pain, maybe he shouldn't be held accountable for uttering the words, but there is no excuse for it making the air with the delay in effect. The NFL markets itself as family entertainment, and this wasn't premium cable at a late hour, this was network TV on a Sunday afternoon. At the very least, I think the network should issue an apology.

When they brought him back this year, I said I wish he had retired because I feared exactly this would happen.
I pray it's not another major knee injury, but perhaps the Caddy should find this second warning a clarion call to retire from Pro Ball. Many NFL players have trouble walking after retirement, some even have trouble thinking clearly. The league and team that wants him back now, will want nothing to do with him once he can no longer play. As far as the "language" issue mentione by the concerned arse; stick it in your ear arse...'nuff said. |

That's probabaly a small fraction of what is really said on the field during every play. Why don't you write the NFL and see what response you will get. |
