What if Leftwich made 1 change, rather than say - "this is how I throw."

Leftwich has one of the strongest arms in the nfl, but uses a long windup on short to intermediate throws. If his arm is so strong, why not only wind up for 30+ yard throws...he keep saying, "This is how I throw.." Kinda stubborn, why not make a few changes, if the solution saves a career... He had to lose weight anyway, why not just shorten the windup on throws that are short...He has a cannon arm anyway, so it is not like he needs a long windup...your thoughts?

short throws, long throws whatever the case may be-the guy can flat out throw! i'm hoping he sticks around as ben's back-up because quite frankly his win against the redskins gace this team life after being man=handled by the eagles and giving a win away to the giants. the jags let him go to put garrard in there and he isn't all that! the guy is an athlete and why nobody is looking at him is insane.
