I've never thought of Coach Herman Edwards as a bad coach, but I think he gets stuck with these mediocre teams that never quite get it together. I know he means well, but I dodn't know if it's the coaching staff also that 'causes players not to buy into his philosophy. When he was with the N.Y. Jets on occasions they looked as though they were future competitors for the Super Bowl. He's never had a dominant defensive unit, the QB situation was always a question(with Chad Pennington), & they had issues with closing out games they should've won. Sounds like somebody else I know of...Romeo Crennel who was fired by the Cleveland Browns at season's end. The Browns were a team improving the last three years until now. The last time The Browns showed up was when they made a mockery of the N.Y. Giants on MNF. I think Coach Edwards should be given a chance with a better roster, a team with talented players/leadership in the locker rooms. If he can't deliver, then I really don't know what else to say...Retire?

I agree. KC has never spent money on talent being a small market team. They expect you to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.Their GM could never draft the right people and the team has had no identity for years. The present team was very young and I thought Edwards was the right person to teach those young guys.
Oh well.

As far as a man, Herm Edwards has always carried himself as a professional and gentleman, I haven't anything but respect for him, but I agree with Colts 88, he got stuck with mediocre teams and just never could get the missing ingredients needed to build a winner. The Chiefs do have some talent, they're better than what their record indicates, but they do have some holes, and until someone can come in, look at the game film, and figure it out, they'll be toward the bottom once again. Please, no more running backs, this is your golden opportunity to get a quarterback, don't go after a retread or a has been.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
