Well the viki ngs are the best team and as for who's best receiver it's the one thats got open brett favre an equal opertunity quarterback. If the vikings keep playing all three phases of the game they can take it ALL. There is no giving it to the vikings they have to take it ALL for we got to kick some butts to get to the superbowl and WIN IT. Offense, defense and special teams got to keep coming together as a great team. YOU GOTTA BELEIVE BRO GO VIKINGS.

What year was that when we lost to the Falcons? I see it happening all over again. Please dont say the Vikes are the best yet.

Best right now maybe. Sure a lot better than the Pack. Still worry about our coaching especially when the playoffs come. Also worry about the safeties backing way off when we have a lead.

I am very excited about the season so far. They are playing great all the way around. BUT, The season is only half over, Favre is still 40 and needs to stay healthy. I am rooting like mad for the Super Bowl, but it is a little early to claim the trophy. Go Vikes!!

No, not until the Vikings tighten-up the pass defence. To many times this season, the Vikings offence has staked-out large leads, only to have the pass defence almost squander it. That's not what championship teams do.

Well, one of the best anyways - for now. I'd really like to see us against the Saints (never thought I'd EVER say that) and definetly a rematch with Pittsburgh, Philly etc. Not sure how we ended up with a fairly soft schedule so its hard to gauge. May not know til we win the Super Bowl. The difference between '98 and '09 is that we have 3 receivers who can catch the ball and score TD's in 2009 - 1998 we had 1 primary in Moss and then Carter and Reed both certainly scoring threats but not at the level Harvin, Rice and Shianco. And we have a back every good as Robert Smith was if not better. But we also have a HOF QB which we didnt have in 1998. na, there wont be any knees taken in this NFC championship game - Favre wouldnt hear of it.

I'm thinking this offensive line, shaky at the start of the season, but now starting to gell, can keep the old buzzard on his feet. They absolutely dominated in the Buttpacker game. But the truth is they will face some really tough teams this year, and into the playoffs.(much tougher than Gay Bay) Have no doubt though, these guys are for real. Awesome array of weapons at the coaches (one worry, that)disposal, and you know, these guys seem to have the right attitude to boot-look at the Steeler game which was a loss, but a real test of character. And boy, did they pass!!! No fear- takin' it to the Big Show- To Win! Go Vikings!

Not quite. The Saints and the Colts are still unbeaten, and while the Saints defense looked somewhat vulnerable Monday night, their offense looks unstoppable. Considering the only tough games they have left are Dallas and New England at home, and Atlanta on the road, I could see them going 15-1, and yes, I think they're that good. While I see the Vikings getting to 9-1 fairly easily, things get a little too dicey after that. I'd like to see our defense put opponents away instead of letting them off the carpet after getting a big lead. If that doesn't stop, it's going to catch up to the team during the playoffs. Plus, with unpredictable opponents like Chicago (twice), Cincinnati, Arizona and the Giants in the last six weeks of the season, I'd be satisfied with a first-round bye. Let's see the defense dominate for 60 minutes against a quality opponent, then maybe I'll change my mind.

A trademark of the Childress era is a slow start to the season, then peak near the end. At 7-1, It's hard to imagine this team getting better, but they are. Brett is just getting used to these guys, and the O-Line has come together. I'd like to see Williams and Johnson start pulling their weight, then this 'D' can really dominate. Our offense, which just last year looked sluggish and inept, is now a powerhouse. Brett dissects every defense as he approaches the line, then makes good decisions. I agree that it's too early to talk Super Bowl, but this team has the talent, and then some.

I think the VIkings go as far as a healthy Bret Favre can take them. If he re-injures his arm, then its all over. If the Vikes keep passing the way the are, I believe Favre goes down. His body won't be able to take the stress. This means that somehow Childress has to reinvigorate the running game and keep Bret from throwing 24-50 times a game. Save him for the playoffs. If they don't relax the work load on Bret and he gets hurt then all of our hopes go into Jackson's incapable hands? That means one and done in the playoffs.

Yes, indeed this Vikes "D" is suspect-in the secondary most of all. This is going to sound a bit weird- but the Saint's have the favor of one Terry Bradshaw, and that is the kiss of death to any team. I cringe whenever this bozo predicts the Vikes to win ANY game. It is an intangible to be sure. Vikes have a solid task-minded team. Saints are favored by Bradshaw, always. Advantage-Vikings! Let's whup some ass! Go Vikings!!!
