Percy,
If you read this post, I just want to tell you how f***ing awesome you are!
Sitting in Lamblow and seeing the Packer fans go limp late in the game after you ran that kickoff darn near into the red zone was priceless. I will never forrget it, keep up the great work.

Percy is a stud, no doubt about it.
I have to say they really made a good move drafting him, it was maybe a risky pick, but it sure has worked out.

I don't know about returning punts though???? We seem to lose a lot of good players to injury, filling that role. I say, get Reynaud back and call it good..

Ummmm, who sent trainers to Favre?.... who convinced Favre to have the surgery? Who got Favre here? It wasn't Percy... it's time to get a clue!!! He's more than made up for his "one" draft mistake and I believe at 7-1 and only a late fumble by Brett they are 8-0 he's corrected it!

I think he's too valuable as a WR to risk injury as a punt AND kickoff returner.

I can tell you this much, the Spinach and Lemon fans of Green Bay will never forget that purple
# 12 jersey blazing down the field like a whirling dirvish.
Percy Harvin and Brett Favre will occupy their nightmares for weeks. I was at Lamblow yesterday and these people were madder than heck that # 4 and #12 came in their house and made an arse out of them. I LOVE IT!
p.s. Packer rubes, where are you all today????

I'm in Lakeville with the misses while you are at work!!

Wait for the big Blow......When BF makes purple juice drinker
happy with 13-3 record and then lays a big egg in the most important
game of all in the playoffs. That will make our day in Packer land.

Just when Chilli does not get outcoached in a game and I really have nothing to say bad, here he goes. Harvin as a punt returner? Bad idea. You are doing OK there now and it is a whole different deal and a much higher risk. Sometimes punt returners do not fair catch when they should and they get clobbered like a punching bag. When he is running back kicks he usually has a chance to get up a head of steam before he gets it.--- I thnk Chilli listens sometimes, he did run in near the endzone this time.

Klink supported Ferraro as ST coach.(7TD's last year against his coverage units) Thank's to the Rams for hiring that disaster away. Harvin returning punts is like Greenway wedge busting on kickoffs his rookie year. I hope Reynaud hasn't ended up in Klink's doghouse for some reason.

The quality that I notice most is balance. When Percy is hit he recovers quickly, quicker than the guys who hit him. You can't teach this. Go Percy!

I think putting Percy Harvin in on punts is a bad move. He is great on kickoffs because he has the time to see the ball coming then can see where the running lanes are. On a punt, the converage is down the field way too soon and I fear injury to a very important guy on this team. Besides, it would also wear him down more!

I really like him playing WR and doing kickoffs! Don't change a thing Childress!

On a side note: Its too bad the Vikings couldn't have kept Birk & Sharper! I think this team would be unstopable! We need more leadership in the backfield!

I'm also not for him returning punts unless there's a situation where you need a big play. Reynaud was good, and if he can come back healthy, I think he will be just fine. Johnson's not getting it done, but adding to Percy's workload isn't necessarily the answer. Save Harvin for WR and kickoffs, let's not overdo things. Let's hope everyone gets healthy over the bye and keep this thing going.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
