1 Is there any chance that sportswriters have a self-interest in claiming the sky is falling? First to gin up a story for a deadline, and second to feed the beast they report about. |

1 The Wilfs can afford to buy up all the land around the Metrodome. Why should we help them line their pocketbooks? Spent 100s of millions for eight games a year. Pathetic. |

1 The Vikings have a no blackout streak for 'virtual' sellouts that dates back to 1997. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are on pace to have all 8 regular season home games blacked out this year for poor attendance, a number that will match the entire league's total from 2008. There are whole sections of seats in the stadium with a tarp covering. They've been around 15 years, vs. the Vikings' 50 years. At 50 years, the Vikings are the newest team in the division! The Bears and Lions are at 80 years and counting, and the Packers have reached 90 years, almost matching the number of sacks Jarred Allen has on Karen Rodgers in 2 meetings this year. But I digress... The only close driving distance rival for the Jags is the Titans. The others are Indy and Houston. Compare that to the utter *perfection* of the geographical rivalries between Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. The NFL loves that, and so do all those midwestern fans. I just don't see it happening anytime soon. Not until every team more likely to move has been squared away in some fashion or another. Still want to see them get the stadium issue resolved, though. Would be nice to lock them in for another 30+ years. I want my future kids to experience going to Viking games growing up the same way I did. Packers suck. |

1 With the dispute between the NFL and Minnesota (Williams Wall Suspensions) you can bet that the League management (Goodell) will get even and push for the Vikings to move, even though the Jags are a smaller market team with attendance problems. As for the geographical perfection, the league would place St. Louis into the North, and the LA Vikings to the west...geographically making overall improvements. The politicians of this state will run the NFL out and they'll never return...ever! |

1 What Minnesotans and the legislature need to decide is: Are you willing to come up with the cash, or would you rather they left? It's blackmail, but it's also a fact of life. Just like most everything else, it's all about the money. LA is already building the stadium the Vikes want and it will be ready for the 2012 season. |

I don't think punishing Viking fans is getting back at MN Vikings or MN Government. He is probably displeased with the players union for finding these loopholes.. Also the Vikings in MN have way to much history to just be moved overnight noway.. if they did move by some freak chance I would follow them because they are the only sports team in MN worth rooting for. They bring in out of state money and even when they suck they at least come close to selling out most games. They may have the cheapest stadium in the league but I am sure they turn higher profits than most the league especially for smaller market teams.. They will get there new stadium, it just won't be easy or won't be quick.. Plus what idiots thought the Twins needed new stadium before the Vikes.. Good luck in April and October if they ever play in october.. |

Madam, concerning the idea of the Vikings moving to L.A., respectfully, you simply do not know what you are talking about. |

Yes very much so is the first half MVP player, no question at all. He has really
proved his true value, even at 40 years old. There is no doubt Brett Favre, and Percy Harvin was all along the two main keys in what the team was lacking to be Championship Calibar, bringing these two fine players was a gift of God meant to be in heaven. Minnesota Vikings Fan's are in seventh heaven now, long over due. "GO GET-EM-VIKE'S, your fan's are the greatest, give them what they really deserve, "TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE"! |
