If LSU loses their Title game, then they definitely do NOT deserve to go to the NC. Neither does Bama. This system needs a serious overhaul, CFB is becoming a joke.

It is the SEC teams that do not schedule quality pre-season matchups.

LSU beat Alabama already, 9-6, so how can they play for the national championship? If Alabama wins, is there a 'rubber match?' Enough said.

The smartest people on the planet tell us college football doesn’t need a playoff system, because the regular season-every game is a playoff.

In-conference matchups don't mean anything in weak conferences.

For whom this my concern LSU Alabama are the best two teams in the country. And the reason they don't put one of those weak ass team from any other conference is because any of the top four teams in the sec would destroy them and if football fan wanted to see track race they would go to one. We would Like to see a competitive game and that's what we get with a rematch!!!!

I think they are the best team in the country. What I was attacking was this comment made by some yokel: "why dont your scared athletic directors schedule some sec teams". LSU is the exception but by and large SEC teams do not schedule tough OOC matchups and it isn't because everyone is scared to play them. That is childish.

But Bama doesn't want to give up that home game. And there is no way my team, tOSU, wouldn't schedule an SEC team home-and-home.

Back in 2008 the SEC along with the ACC tried to pass a plus one playoff. the BIG 12 (and others) voted no.(voted NO not to even DISCUSS the issue). This would have gotten Oklahoma St. along with Stanford in. Oh, the IRONY. As I see it, a Big 12 fan should be upset at their former conference president. Just stating the facts!

I just read an article that suddenly the Big 12 and some Pac 12 ADs (Stanford, what a shock) are now in support of discussing a 4 team playoff?
This gets on my nerves. Everyone has an idea about how these things should go and then the second it affects them adversely they change position. Suddenly, the Stanford AD and the Big 12 are all for a playoff and suddenly Nick Saban no longer believes that you should win your conference to play in the NC game.
Hypocrites.
