DeAngelo or DeShaun? For now, it's an easy De-cision

Full story: The Herald

In any debate, the easiest position to take is the contrary one. It makes you look smarter and more thoughtful, since you've chosen a position counter to the established norms.

i wanna see WILLIAMS TEAR IT UP!!! I've seen nothing exciting from Foster. Nothing. And this rookie shows a mean run every chance he gets. Let's give him more time. Now, not next year.

Although I do believe that Williams is good and could be great someday, I would prefer keeping him under the radar as much as possible. Foster can do exciting things like he has the past few years...but they have been using Foster like a bruiser back instead of a cut back runner. If you play Williams regularly, teams will figure him out and we will have another Cadilac on our hands. I think the 1-2 punch is good if you do it right like against Atlanta.

I posted my comments before I actually read the article about Deshaun or DeAngelo....I totally agree with the article obviously. That is exactly how it is and should be. I can't stand people who jump off band wagons like they change there underwear. What happen to people being loyal to there teams and players on that team? The one thing I like about the article is the "what runs can you remember of Stephen Davis when he was here" and the "what runs can you remember of Deshauns since he has been here". Deshaun has done some great things here and because things get a little tough this year and we have a new back (that reminds me of deshaun when he first showed up here) everyone wants to jump on that bandwagon! There are a few things that people have to realize....the team just signed a new contract with Foster so he is not going anywhere. I just feel bad because he is good guy that just shuts up and plays, doesn't say anything negative, and goes out and does what needs to be done. That to me is a good player to have.

I think it was a mistake to re-new Foster's contract as history will show us in the upcoming seasons. I like Foster but we must evaluate the past performances to gauge the future. While in Carolina,Foster has spent more time on the injure reserves list than on the actual playing field.Yes I remember his performance in 2003 when he backed up Davis. He may well do great things next year. But if the past must gauge what he will do,then you already have an answer.Keep the faith because I lost it some time ago. This is a business of performance and production in an effective manner, not words but actions.

True...but you also have to realize that his injuries are not nagging injuries like a pulled hamstring or things like that. He busted his knee one season, had surgery and hasn't had problems with it since. He then got pounded to the ground and broke his collar bone and came back from that. He then was able to finally last the whole regular season and BROKE his ankle in a playoff game that he helped get us to the NFC Championship game. I don't think he is injury prone as much as he is unfortunate. He is a good player that is just unlucky!

Williams and Fosters are good quick backs You gotta have An offensive Coordinator or Coaches calling not perfect plays but something quick.

Jerry, I think you hit on the true problem. We would not be ridiculing the players if Dan Henning would have done his JOB!! This is our true weak link..

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
