I totally agree with Hobbs. As a fan of the Patriots we do get a little spoiled. Give the team a break they have been GREAT, for the last few years. There entitled to a bad day! Just like were entitled to a bad day at work! There still a great team, and they have to learn new things seeing that there dealing with Cassel and not Brady. Look at how far the team has come people!! Really come on, they went from not making it to the Super Bowl then there Winning Super Bowls back to back. My cup is up for those men, you do your job(s) and you do it well. Keep up the great work. And don't let those uptight booing fans get you going.

I agree too. It was a bad game all around but I remeber the 2-14 days and 5-11 days. Noone expected us to lose Brady. Who would have ever thught of that happening. We have to stand behind the team keep cheering for our Patriots in good times and bad times no mater what happening. They have to come together as a team again. They have to do things differently without Brady. That is the way it has to be for this year. Do not bail out on the team they need us and our suport. Gooo Pats I still believe in you.

If you're a true Pats fan, you're not going to bail on them.. they need us now more than ever... no one expected Brady to be out for the season so the team needs to adapt and make changes... with the history they have had over the last few years.. I agree that booing is silly, given the team's accomplishments.

Having said that, the Pats need to stop resting on their laurels. The failures on defense have nothing to do with Brady or Cassel. The Pats didn't lose the game 9-6...they got blown out by no less than Miami 38-13. The anemic offense eeked out a TD and a couple of field goals and the defense just rolled over.

hobbs should be quiet and play the game, put his energy into preparation to defend passes and not dropping what should have been an interception on miami's first possession.

the fans booed a pathetic performance, a no-show of a game that the drunks in the third row could have played at the local park. it's not like they booed a 38 35 loss. they booed a blowout by a potentially 4 and 12 division rival. the team looked pathetic in all aspects of the game except the kicking game, and if they hadn't given up 5 touchdowns, hobbs wouldn't have set a team record for kick returns. real fans do boo when they watch the most disgusting display of athleticism imaginable, supplemented by the inability to adjust to an unchanging game plan on their opponent's part. ronnie brown scored more touchdowns on sunday than the patriots have this season.

the patriots should be ashamed and real fans should be disgusted. a father still loves a son, even when disciplining him for improper behavior. and a real fan still loves the patriots even when they stink the place up. the difference is that someone who cares will let them know they're blowing it, while the numb, mindless foxborough faithful will sit and cheer them, 62 yard touchdown run after 62 yard touchdown run.

we sat idly as the team did nothing to prevent a blowout. finally, we told them to get their acts together because, obviously, belichick didn't, and they couldn't figure it out on their own.
