In statement #4 they are a "young offensive line".
In statement # 6 they are a " mature team". Make up your mind. |

Overall they are a mature team...the line specifically is young...the field goal kicker is mature but the punter is young...the whole team isn't the same age!! |

Line (OL) refers to a "part" of the team. "Team" refers to all the parts. There are many units/parts that comprise the team as a whole. Man are you dumb. You were able to sign on to your computer by yourself? |

The Ravens led all teams in time of posession last year?!? I would have never thought that. Seems every game near the end, all we had to do was hold on to the ball and run the clock out, but we typically went 3 and out and gave the other side a shot at tieing or winning. Interesting stat.

Biggest question?....O-line! This will determine their fate...

It's funny that people say that about the line. There's no question that the line is young and needs to mesh. McGahee is the one who'd love to see the happen ASAP. I'd like to point out that our line was the same in 06 as the line in 05 that with the help of Boller had a sack number in the 50's (plus jamal under 1000 yds rushing) and was struggling. McNair does a great job controlling the pocket and getting rid of the ball. I have faith the O line will get stronger and Billick has a gameplan to help with that process.

I am perplexed. JO has been out since the end of last season. That's 9 months. Is this all a game? Is there hope that he'll be in the lineup on Monday? He said if the game were today, he couldn't do it. Why not just retire? If he can't get ready in 9 months, what's a few more months going to matter? Anyone? Buehler? What's really going on?

There are certainly a lot of QB's with much better mobility than McNair. But he has that little move...He's had it as long as I can remember. At the last second, he steps up to avoid the rush. It's subtle, but extremely effective. I can't recall anyone being better at avoiding the rush at the last possible second...maybe Sam Havrilak? I am bummed about talk of bringing in Leftwich. I think Kyle Boller is a perfect backup for us, and I certainly don't see him seeking much $ to re-sign. But Billick appears to be at the end of his rope with Kyle. The kid's tough, but just doesn't seem to grasp the mentality of a starting QB. But with 5 years on the Ravens, I LOVE him as our back-up.

McNair looks old. He is always getting hurt. His passes flutter.
He helped last year but he is playing old . He plays older than his age. J O needs to retire. His toe is gone and he has 9 months to get better. He's not getting it better |
