The Packers have a REAL advantage playing at home against everybody except the 49ers! Don't get me wrong, we will have the crowd advantage, but that is probably about all the advantage home field will provide against THAT team. Home field advantage is very big against every other team in the NFC playoffs.

The Packers have a homefield advantage over the 49ers, but it's smaller than the advantage over other NFC playoff teams. The 49ers have played very well on the road so far this season and they have a team that should play well in adverse weather.

Maybe mostly because the 49ers are good, not due to weather, even to, they aren't used to real cold.......they may have the ability to run the ball, at Matthews, which nullifies his persuit....

Conventional wisdom says a high powered offense is needed to beat the Packers but those teams have failed every time. Kansas City is much more like the 49ers than the Saints! I've been telling a 49er friend of mine for months that I'm more concerned about his team than the ones all the experts say have the best chance to beat the Packers. In the end, there can be only one. Regardless of relative strengths and weaknesses one team will reign victorious. I'm hoping it will be the Packers, but nearly every playoff game is a close battle and anything can happen and sometimes does.

49ers are a good running team so the cold wont hurt them nearly as much as N.O. and SF has a better defense as well.
