Honestly I have to agree with you because we left too many players on the draft board that would've filled big needs for us at the time and a lot of those players are considered Great Players now. And Honestly, I think DHB would've fallen to round 3 or 4 but I like the players we took after him like Mitchell, Shaughnessey, and Murphy.
I'll bet we could've taken Clay Matthews or Michael Oher in round 1 and DHB would've fallen to us in round 3 and Shaughnessey to our second pick in round 4.
