BC Set To Fire Jagodzinski If He Interviews With Jets

Full story: Hartford Courant

It's a lot of ado about a coach not likely to land the job. Boston College coach Jeff Jagodzinski, as of Monday night, was expected to interview with the Jets about their vacant head coaching position.

Gene the weasel would be a good name for him. Where's the BC President on this?
Is that how a Catholic institution treats its employees?
Gene ran around during the jailbreak to the ACC lying about how BC was not involved and then has the gall to threaten to fire his coach when he openly indicates he may interview.
Must be the old story of the end justifying the means. Isn't that how the holier than thou Catholics deal with their consciences? That is, if they have consciences.

Im wondering if this has to do with the fact that it is the jets, Bob Kraft is one of the boosters for BC I believe. BC deserves to have this happen to them. My hope is that Jags interviews for the job, gets fired by BC and then Uconn could get him as an offensive coordinator.

When my child begins examining a list of potential colleges to attend, I would propose a review of Boston College, as basis for establishing the lowest undesirable standard. I would offer its obvious lack of studies and practice in the field of ethics and personal responsibility (based upon recent history).
De Fillipo dictatorially demanding loyalty (not earning it) and refusal to allow an employee from being interviewed (under penalty of being fired) travels well beyond the pale. The stench from the outright deceit, numerous lies, double-cross and disloyalty he and Boston College visited upon the Big East, continues to linger and still requires further visits to the confessional. Many more years of penance and a second-class ticket to Hell (if they have lowered their standards) would be lacking.
The disservice BC has done (and continues) to the image of the Catholic faithful can only be rivaled by the all too numerous wayward priests. Perhaps here, De Fillipo may have missed his true calling. Free enterprise and the opportunity to improve your standing must always be damned in the selfish world of De Fillipo and Boston College. We have sold our souls for the endless pursuit of trophies and treasure. The greed and avarice of “Big Bucks” is what it’s all about. Can I get an Amen?

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Cancer

You could struggle to display your feelings and emotions at the moment. Being so sensitive, the smallest things could hurt your feelings, but no one else is likely to realise since you retreat into your shell at these times. This will not be a conscious decision, and you'll feel frustrated at your inability to explain the hurt you suffer.
